Well I think there is more fun with more players but I don't think that all 1v1 games (even most) are decided by initial drop. Maybe in some maps, but that's all

I wouldn't say its the drop, the bigger problem is going second.

ConquerClub may want to think about block NR's from playing trench as I'm sure a lot of people will join then likely not come back to the site if they accidentally create/join some trench games which could take a longer than normal time to finish.

I thought I read that NRs are blocked from trench. I don't remember where I saw it though.

I'm pleased trench was introduced, my score line on Classic is on the way up for the very first time thanks to it!

Per the Instructions pages "New Recruits must earn a promotion to join Assassin games, Terminator games, team games, large games (6 or more players), Trench Warfare games and games on complex maps (they will be hidden from Join A Game and Game Finder listings). These restrictions do not apply to private games."

The restrictions also don't apply to NRs who buy premium.

Yeah if they have premium no biggie since they can get multiple games. Was just a thought about new players that may stumble upon the site

When we launched the update, we blocked New Recruits, as specified in those Instructions quoted above! Thanks for thinking about this too though!

I do not know if this has been answered but how does trench work for a Map like Lunar Wars.

Are you now limited to complete the objective since you cannot eliminate players any longer since attacking the base and forting there would end the move so you could not attack shuttles and would resort back to neutral next round?

Killer neutral territories are except from the trench rules. (You can attack through them.)

When he said 'except,' he meant exempt. You can attack through killer neutrals, like Babe in Baseball, Access Point in Das Schloss, and the bases in Lunar War.

It is great to see 118 players have earned at least their Bronze Trench Medal, with 9 players already at the Silver level...duking it out to see who first gets the Gold!
