Fabulous work ya'll. Is there any movement on the creation of a revamped classic map? If so, I'd propose a changing of the bonuses for control of S.Am. and Africa, to 3 and 4 respectively.

We only report on maps that are in progress right now. We publish details on Advanced Drafts, active topics in the main Foundry, and the Final Forge. Anything earlier stage than that won't be covered in the Newsletter because of the very high attrition rate of ideas and early drafts (wasted work for the Newsletter staff).

As for that specific request, I am not aware of any draft that is in progress toward doing that.

Active topics is classified as "last post within a week by our content deadline." For the Maps section, that's either Wednesday or Thursday prior to the issue's publication. Famine didn't fulfill that this previous issue.

well still, ive been working on it behind the scenes with telvannias help :P


and its looking much better! but not good enough yet.... im still having problems with the water and castles (i have a weird knack of making them perfectly symetrical #-o ) and maybe the desert/bridges

One suggestion, you should put a link to the previous issue on each newsletter so one could read back all issues. :D
