I'm considering / is known for enjoying the roleplaying aspect of the game and is really likely to give everyone an unique bios, even if multiple players happen to share the same role.

I could be wrong, though, and you might be up to something. Do you have any sort of evidence that all "human quasi-VTs" got the exact same role PM?

Saf and IB seemed to base their knowledge off of Lovecraftian logic. Rishaed very obviously had the same role as me from the beginning, but also DIDN't LIE. He clearly said where he got his information. Nendreel is somewhere in between.

Thanks Doom I actually will take that as a compliment ATM, because i have a slight theory and I'm not exactly understanding where you are coming from. I'm almost pulling your "elon is lying post" but I'm not as sure. . . will wait and see.

The problem here then is that the very reason you went after him in the first place is him saying that he only thinks there is a cult. So somehow you decided: He thinks there is a cult, therefore he knows there is a cult, therefor he has the same role as me, therefor he must be lying about "thinking" there is a a cult.

+1, I was going to say the exact same thing. I have to look back if he said he was one of the guys who had no idea of lovecraft. I don't know if you guys watched the youtube video I posted. It's a condensation of "the call of cthulu" movie and it's very instructive for the game. Thinking there is a cult in this game for someone knowing the lovecraft universe is more than obvious. Him telling his gut feeling is that there is a cult in here is not the same as him telling he KNOWS there is a cult. Mostly when several people were discussing the possibility of a cult.

Let me put this another way: even if I knew nothing about the cult, I would still know he is lying.

If I wasn't a human, I would realize that he had knowledge and would have pushed him relentlessly. Since I was a human, I assumed he had the same role as me and didn't push him (note that he actually voted me first). I gave him the benefit of the doubt and probably wasted the day because of it.

No matter what role you have: everybody should realize that elonpuckhog is lying. This is why this game frustrates me so much. The first lie should have sent off whistles in everybody's head. With the second point, the case is too good to resist.

Add to this the fact that elon is many times on, but very rarely speaking shows that he is being very careful in what he says - almost too careful.

You know what, this post convinced me that there may be a case here. I will vote elon because if it is true that there is a cult, and your role knows about it, then I can see where there would be reasonable suspicion that he is in fact a cultists. Now I dont know if there is another role that knows there is a cult, but I would say that it is better to end the day with a claim when there was a reason to suspect him then to have a no lynch and waste the day because we didnt want to take a chance. If nothing else, it is a case that may have merit and it is better then nothing!

Okay, when you revisualize your case as "I could tell he was lying by the way he said this thing" I understand it well enough. I don't know how much confidence I have in it, but I understand it. In fact I would consider it good enough to at least have a look at for Day 1. It's now too late for anything to happen on that front, or really any front, but I will Unvote Vote elonpuckhog anyway.

I don't remember if / is picky about it, but you might need to colour your vote.

ok, I see things the same way as ng1 and spiesr, that's good enought for a day 1. What tickles me the most is that he says he is not a vt/human, and to tell the truth I don't really see what other roles could be town and not human. The principle of the human role is that we are going to screw ourselves being too curious at night, or get recruited. I don't believe someone could be town and not a human. Day 1 we all have our sanity and I should've thought of this before.

Ok I looked and both ELON and the NL votes are at 5 (was at 7 however me and doom left to vote elon) so either we've got scum BW'ing hoping that he gets nailed by the lynch chances, or he needs to claim soon. The funny thing is that i've been off and on this entire time and elon's been on quite a bit, but hasn't posted anything. I'm not exactly sure what to think of it right now.
