Mmm. i'm not totally in favour of using all hexes; i've used double hexes in Actium and now have some used in here for major english vessels...using the odd shaped pieces allows ship names to be inserted whereas the hexes are a bit limited in that respect.
C what others think.

I have asked tnb80 to make this maps' status on vacation rather than abandoned, and am working on a new "centrepiece map design" in spare time....i hope to bring it back into the forum after mid-June.

I have re-posted Versions 2,5,7 & 9 on the front page.
The new version 10 when it comes out will be a completely different design, hence there may be some alterations to some small aspects of gameplay.

Yes, isaiah40, i am working on it again, now that i found a decent formula. I had asked tnb80 to change it to "on vacation" but considering slowness in the foundry these days, yes move it back for gameplay discussion please and see what the response is.

I studied this last night, I think I get it. I actually look forward to this map and I am not a huge fan of large complicated maps.

Large - yes. Complicated - not so much i think.
Same command ships principals as Trafalgar, easier to read than Trafalgar, just a bit of range attacking in the Treasury
