Wrong. You can either use the term culturally or geographically.
Culturally you are right in that Finland is not included, but Iceland is generally not included either. Geographically scandinavia consist of Norway, Sweden and northern Finland - Denmark and Iceland not included. I used the name Scandinavia as a middle road to both incorporate the cultural and geographical parts but mostly because it's the most common term around the world. "The nordics" is mostly used by us nordics ourselves (i'm a swede if anyone wonders)
