I can't help but feel that this map would be better if there were more territories. But just adding more people would make it pretty boring, I think. I don't have any ideas on cool gameplay gimmicks you could use, though. Sorry.

24 territories means 8 player games only start with 3 territories per player. Not as bad as Doodle, but not great...:?

I'd like to see more than 24 territories. I'd consider 32 the mimimum size for 8 player games.

You could territories onto the snowman and have a bonus for building a snowman? Maybe put another one somewhere?

Maybe you could add a couple of sleds in the middle of the path and maybe some tubes too?

Looking good. Though, I think some people [mainly those of those areas] with the name "Wog".

I think the snowball generators would be able to be bombarded from every "set" of chums - there are eight.
but the classic continents wouldn't include these generators for bonuses.

lol random thought, but i saw someone saying something about a 'build the snowman' bonus, so it got me thinking, and made me think of the dog. Maybe a 'hit the dog' bonus?

What exactly does that mean? Can the generators attack? If so, who? Can anybody attack the generators? If so, who?

I think what he means is this:
People kneeling are snowball makers, and may not attack; +5 for holding each maker.
People standing are throwers, and may attack anybody else.

I also assume the makers start neutral, otherwise whoever gets the first turn/drops the most makers has a huge advantage.

no i was thinking of having it the same as ToG (starting positions reefs) - Makers are starting positions, everyone else starts neutral which makes more sense in a logical flow of the game. You have to have snowballs before you can start throwing them. :)
But i think the balance between the snowmakers and the nuetral positions could be changed up.
For instance, snowmakers might generate +5; neutrals would have to be at least 5 also, so that the first person doesn't get the immediate advantage.
