Hello people of Conquer Club! This thread is where you sign up for the SoC Training Grounds. The SoC teachers are made up of dedicated players who are both skilled at the game and willing to teach you. We will teach you 6-7 player Terminator and Standard games on the Classic Map. The settings for those game will be escalating spoils, unlimited fortification, and no fog of war. These game settings are easy to learn. The tactics you learn will be helpful for most games you play on this site. If you wish to sign up for training please post in THIS thread saying "please add me"or something similar.

Students will be added based on availability of space and staff discretion. Applicants with Gold Medals in Standard or Terminator will not be accepted. We are all volunteers who enjoy giving back to the community here; please do not apply if you are only chasing medals.

We are looking for skilled players to join our teaching staff, so if you are overqualified as a student, you can pm me to see about teaching.

I am not generally a competetive person, but I do enjoy games of all kinds, especially strategy & tactics. I found CC when another member of the http://www.cartographersguild.com posted his '8 Thoughts' map there, mentioning it was for Conquer Club. I have played a few games so far, and wish to become a more effective player.

Welcome to the fold Tom!

I would suggest that if there are any games that you have awaiting players, That you get out of them A.S.A.P so that you can focus on SoC Training Games. As a Fremium Member you only have four game slots available and you really want to focus on learning the Strategy of the Stacks (As I refer to it), otherwise know as the First 4 Moves.

Any games that you are currently in that you want advice on, please feel free to PM me. But the best that you can do is to Read the Manual and learn the strategy. The Link is Below...
