Sign me up please...

Hello people of Conquer Club! This thread is where you sign up for the SoC Training Grounds. The SoC teachers are made up of dedicated players who are both skilled at the game and willing to teach you. We will teach you 6 player Terminator and Standard games on the Classic Map. The settings for those game will be escalating spoils, unlimited fortification, and no fog of war. These game settings are easy to learn. The tactics you learn will be helpful for most games you play on this site. If you wish to sign up for training please post in THIS thread saying "please add me"or something similar.

Students will be added based on availability of space and staff discretion. We are all volunteers who enjoy giving back to the community here; please do not waste our time if you are only after medals.

We are looking for skilled players to join our teaching staff, so you can pm me to see about teaching if you are already a skilled player.

hey, i would like some training. I'm just not sure how much time I can devote to it.
Plus, i'm a freemie and not sure yet if I want to invest the money. I'd like to make sure
I want to play enough to justify it.
I would wait a few weeks before signing up as it looks like there has been a class about
every two weeks or so since 1st Oct. But I didn't find any other threads before then. Were
older threads archived? Or is that when the program started? Or had it just been a long time
since there was a class? or other? I didn't want to miss out if this happens to be the last
class for a while.
All that being said, I won't mind being kept at the bottom of the list and excluded if it means
somebody else would miss out.

I will get you into the group that just kicked off. We usually start a group every couple of weeks, and then archive the old sign up lists. CC started in '06, and our founder started training people almost immediately after that. we've gone through several morphs since then, but it's still the same principles and desire to help as in the beginning. Give me a day or two, and if you don't hear anything, send me a reminder message.

A PM will stay in your outbox until the person you addressed it to looks at it. Just be patient and it will happen...

ah, ok. thanks. fwiw i think i was being patient. I wouldn't have posted at all but dhall told me to message him if i didn't hear from him in a couple of days. it had been ~5 days since he told me that and another two since I sent the PM. I just couldn't figure out why my message wasn't showing as sent or how to send it. Thanks again.
