If only 2-3 person participiate,then i must put these map on vacation,until people come back to talk abouth these map. :x

i personally like the map very much, and see nothing wrong with it, maybe you should get working on the xml, maybe posting the map with numbers on it so we can see how it looks

qwerts going on vacation will most likely contribute to the problem. The best thing you can do to help is try and keep updates constant and contribute to other threads :)

Well i can only update last update.Or i can show small and large map,and then to waith.
I realy dont know what to do,i like map how look now,and i only can waith some opinion of others people.And if i get some opinion,its normal that we then discuse about some issue(ofcoure for better discusion we must have more people then one or two)

Its ridicylos,i get most little sugestion and opinion.

These is mine 52 post,and i get maybe 5 post opinion,rest is question abouth Marking symbols and History.
People dont give me any sygestion(except Edbeard),so i dont know what to think:
1.People is satisfy with map,and dont see any big problems
2.People dont interest map.

overall i really like this map - these comments are not meant as criticism they are with a view to helping this super map along

the writing in the legend is very small and seems a bit fuzzy, also it does not have a real ww2 feel

should the numbers on the side read 1 2 3 4 instead of 4 3 2 1

this map could do with a win objective even if its fairly unachievable it would really add to its genuine feel

on the axis side the hq and infantry army symbols seem too similar

the allied hq may have issues with red numbers if they overlap the symbol

also could the allied hq be blue instead of red so as not to cause confusion

(if this change is made my above concern becomes a blue numbers concern)

there may be a colour blind issue with the drop zone attack lines as red and green would possibly appear the same

various colour attack lines need to be explained i assume the thin blue and thin red are standard attack lines but are black lines also standard i assume they are but this needs to be explained

are the thick red lines and dotted lines part of the backgrouund map or are these also attack lines - this will also confuse people if left unexplaine as it is

for no of terrs held could you make the numbers all blue on one side and all red on the other

i may be confused by this but it appears men on the sdz space are unkillable im sure this is not correct but thats what the legend implies i think, if this is the case it needs to be changed otherwise whoever has that terr cant be defeated

there are currently more axis than allie terrs if these were the same number it would be really class if the new xml allowed it that one player starts with allies and the other with axis ala chess

1.well its very dificulty to fit in present size rules.Mine first job is to create map to fit all importan units of these operation(73 units),and when i finish with that,space what left is stay for legend.Mine thinking is that Area for play is importan to be better visible,and that why legend is very small.
2.Yes,i take these from other map.
3.Map objective,can you explane more?
4.Maybe look similar,but diference is clear,these is original presentation of symbols.
5.I check these,and only black line go to red space,but these is large version,and in small version all numbers will overlap all symbols,if player have 3 digit number,what will hepend if player have 4,5,6 digit.
6.Yes you forget,that you have Blue symbol,and you have Red symbol,so these mean that 3 digit numbers with blue or red colour will overlap a little symbol,and we can only hope that player will not have so many army(over 100 units).
7.for these issue i need opinion from colour blinded person to know what he think and what colour to put,if he dont see diferent.
8.Aim only explane,attack to SDZ,because all others is standard attack.
9.These is background,and if you look close they not conected with any of units,its quit dificulty to explan everything in history maps,and for these i need much more space.Red line is starting front line on 16 december 1944,and red doted line is maximum anchivement of German Army.
10.Sorry,but i dont understand quit these what you say?
11.Its look that you forget what legend say"German attack can annihiliate but not Conquer"So these mean that chance to stay is in these terittory quit dificulty,because 1 terittory attack(annihiliate)3 other terittory.Ofcourse you can take terittory back from Air force,and these is only place where you can conquer(supply)these terittory,and these is history facts(battle of Bastogne).
12.Yes,Germans prepare more unit against Ally(because ally dont avare of germans plan for these sector),but Ally have biger air support,and these whas the end of german offensive.

I hope that you now more better understand map.
These discusion and opinions is great for development a map.

its a bit confusing with the dark red line, i don't think that you can attack along it but it seems like i could when i first looked at it

Qwert, I was just thinking that instead of the thick red line, which I think is really going to confuse people... could you change the opacity of the background to make some bits slightly paler? This way you could still identify the different bits of land, without it interfering with gameplay...

Qwert - I think Mr Benn wanted you to try the following... (I'll try to explain in easy english - just say if you don't understand)

1) Remove Red (border) line between Germany & Belgium.

2) Colour/Shade each country slightly differently.

Why?

1) The red border line might be confused as an attack route.

2) If each country is coloured/shaded differently the Red Border line won't be needed.

Well i look map and i realy can see any distraction,or any similarity with Attack red lines and Red front Line(like i explane these is historicaly front line from german start and max,advance)so i dont want to remove these importan detail of these map. If Mrbenn realy have problem to see difernence(i doubth)then i can not help.
Background must some Military fealing,if i remove front borders,then these filing will be lost.

Qwert - I know that the borders are important, but they are likely to confuse some people.

I've had another idea:

What: Make the border lines black/grey to make it look like they are part of the background.
Why: So people don't confuse them with attack lines.

Well only thing what i can doo,its to down opacity of red lines,to be more bright and then people can not be confused with that(i doubth that he confused)
