Ho-ly CRAP! I know that show! It's sort of sad that I know that Super Marionette stuff, or whatever it's called. I honestly thought Captain Scarlet was better, despite it being less popular.

That does not look like a happy kitty.

So, how much longer must we hijack this thread before someone comes in and makes things happen?

Well, there are currently a huge amount of maps in beta and waiting to get in beta... I would wager that Mr.B is trying to somewhat regulate the amount of simultaneous beta maps so that there will be enough beta-testers for each map.

I suppose that's true, but I find lately that apart from tournaments, almost all my games are on beta maps. I guess that comes from taking an interest in the Foundry and not playing too many games at once.

Fun trivia:

The LP on the missiles in the missile base icons stands for "Lunar Projectile"

I does seem like things are at a stand still. I wonder what the holdup is?

More fun facts:

It takes 60-70 hours to get to the moon by rocket.
It would take 135 days to travel the circumference of the moon by car (if you could get a car up there :))

Blast off!

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Lunar War Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

              Image

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
    1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. Please update the Map Information Portal with details of your map
    3. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.

Uploading takes some time due to all the fuel.

Now we can begin the countdown, not in seconds, but in posts, so:

TEN ...

just so everyone knows...

the mine bonus isn't functioning due to a glitch in the xml.

I have sent the updated xml file to mrbenn so it will be repaired shortly.
