Yeah, I think it's related with an old issue, now fixed.
In fact in the same game log we can read :

2011-04-22 00:14:27 - cjmicah received 10 troops for holding 10 Portals
2011-04-22 00:14:27 - cjmicah received 24 troops for holding 12 Deep Land regions

There does not appear to be any portal bonus given. Instead a deep land region bonus is given but the log
describes it as an incorrect portal bonus.

This may have something to do with the fact that Deep Land 01 is included in both overriding continent bonuses.

Has this happened in other games? Has this happened in other maps?

I barely ever take part of the map discussions but I wanted to chime in just to say I consider this map's gameplay is awesome, and it is one of the best new maps I've seen in a while. The gameplay is amazing, the bonus scheme allows for thrilling one on one back and forths and the distribution of the territories is also key to the whole set.

I'm actually playing the game, game 8967905, and at the renforce phase.
I could do a strange one between Deep Land 01, and Imperial Dragon landing point, (Imperial dragon 10 is neutral ).
Is it a bug ?

Not easy to say what's happening in your game without a screenshot because it's a fog game, anyway, Deep Land 01 only borders with Deppe Land 05 and Deep Land 06.
The fact that Imperial Dragon 10 is neutral doesn't have an effect on the reinforce phase because Clan Portals - in this case ID10 - attack deep portals and not the opposite.

it's not a bug. u had occupied the pinnacle, which gives access to all of the landing points.

I know this map isn't in beta anymore, but I have to say that the description is a bit misleading. I just started a game with it and had no idea what was going on...The "Region number bonus: 1 troop for every 2 regions above 6" is ambiguous at best. My guess was that one would get the normal region bonus for their first six regions, then one troop for every two regions thereafter (ie, +1 for 3 regions, +2 for 6, +3 for 8, +4 for 10,... with a minimum of three). A colleague read it as a bonus (ie, 1 troop for every 3 regions + a BONUS 1 troop for every two regions). And, if you take the actual literal translation of what is written, it should be no troops for less than six regions---since you are apparently replacing the standard (1 troop for every 3 regions with a minimum of 3 troops), you really need to add that there is a minimum of three, or at least note that you are replacing the standard deploy (perhaps by not calling it a bonus).

I glanced back a bit at the discussion (maybe 10-15 pages), and others mentioned this topic. It appeared to have quite a bit of support. Why wasn't anything done to fix this problem? You should be able to understand the rules before you join the game.

i don't see a problem with the wording. it was perfectly understandable to me.
