Well some of the names are a bit hard to read... Rizokarpaso (?) Limassol and Chakistra to name a few.

I still think a font more like the title font would work for the territories.

Typo in the British bases legend: should read "attack each other" not "attach each others".

Now text is all with the same font used for the title. Typo fixed.
Now I'm doing some random test, i prefer the version 4.1 or 4.2 (second option), but i'd like to hear some other thoughts

Looking real good thenobodies80.
4.2, but I would like to see it with different combination of colors. Like dark and light blue. Or even better might be, match the border to the color of the title.

Also the rivers need to be lightened so as to blend with the ocean.

Rivers? i think you mean the UN Buffer zone, essentially it's a neutral zone controlled by UN that divides the island in two parts.
Although rarely mentioned, we still have a "wall" in Europe --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nat ... _in_Cyprus

Ah ha I see now. Maybe you could just change the color to red or black or...?

I like 4.4 the best. It sets the legends visually apart from the map and thus gives a bigger focus to the playing area. It has the most balanced composition.

I tested the colors used for the title, as suggested by porkenbeans. It looks much better so i replaced the previous images with those below

I'm with natty and pork: 4.6 looks very good. I would suggest that the regions (territories) that give their names to the zones (continents) could have something to emphasize them on the map. A larger or bolder version of the font could work well. See the Macedonia map for comparison. Also, is there any point to the "BMB" abbreviation? It does not appear on the map, except in the legend.
