It feels messy, right in the middle. Things have shifted slightly from positions on Large. The difference between land and water text comes in handy.

This looks good to me. Can you post your vischeck versions just so we can make sure please. Then if no other major concerns we can get this moved on. ;)

Hopefully these are clear enough to show the differences in region colours.

I don't really see any potential problems, but maybe someone can pipe in on it.

Oh by the way if no one has any concerns with this map I'll stamp it in a couple of days.

Ho my god, If I knew that before I could include it in JULES VERNE CONTEST. But I'm not sure it will be beta when the tourney will start....

You should also know about MapMaker killer when your map become beta : http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=137470

Thanks, it'll be a bit longer yet. I'm working on the XML and need to fine tune the graphics still.

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Northwest Passage Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

              Image

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
    1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. Please update the Map Information Portal with details of your map
    3. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.

Congrats shakeycat!! You finally made it, kind of like the explorers trying to find the Northwest Passage, but well worth the effort in the end!! =D> =D>

Thanks :)

I'm starting to notice a few tweaks I want to make to the graphics, as I play the map.

Minimap (gap on mainland where tundra should be looks weird)
Queen Maud (move territory line to left so it is more visible)

I'm sure I'll see more.

It's white on grey on mine. You might want to check your brightness and contrast settings on your display. I used to think that there was something funny going on in the styles between my machines at work and at home, until I discovered that the home machine (which was shared) had its settings all wacky, so I didn't see, for example, the grey backgrounds of each post on pages like this one.

I just have a question with regards to the 'earn +1 for holding 2 expedition routes' (or similar). What should I look for with regards to that bonus in bob since I'm not really seeing where/how it applies?

Leehar -

I'm just working through that one at the moment. I realized I hadn't actually written that into the XML, so currently, no such bonus applies.
