It seems to me that the places where expedition bonuses are doubled or tripled up (Lancaster, Baffin, Parry, Davis) are rather easy to conquer at just 3 neutrals. Bust 12 neutrals, get +6 bonus. Should the neutrals be raised slightly - perhaps 4 where there's 2 routes running through, and 5 where there's 3? More? No?

Adding neutrals will likely just make them be ignored. Also, the map is not very open, high neutrals will constrain the gameplay even more... I would advise against it.

The +6 bonus for 12 neutrals is not so bad, considering you have to defend 4 borders to keep it.

The Hudson terr. are now worth +4, was that your intention with the extra +2 per 2 exp. terr or do you think that bonus could use some adjusting?

I think you are mistaken. The opponent got +2 total for Hudson. The other +2 was for the Northwest Territories.

Yes in the game that I finished not too long ago, after the last update, I held the Hudson route and it was worth only +2.

Sorry yeah, I meant +2 instead of +4

Basically as you can see in the log, it's "2011-05-03 00:19:41 - <player> received 1 troops for holding 2 Henry Hudson Expedition territories
2011-05-03 00:19:41 - <player> received 1 troops for holding Henry Hudson"
which gives 2 diff. +1 bonuses for the same regions. It just seemed a bit disingenuous to me #-o

Yeah, I get that there's really only one way to cut that bonus, and the fact that we mention +1 and +1 instead of just +2 is a bit redundant. The problem is that it is an expedition route, the same as the longer ones, and it would seem MORE off (to me at least) if it was just called +2 and immune from the +1 for 2 bonus structure.

I agree. Trying to explain the exception would take more space and be less clear than what is there now.

When I first played this map I hated it, quite possibly because I was really confused, and a lot of the linkages are difficult to understand, especially the bonus regions that don't have internal connections.

Now that I've played on it for a while, it has really grown on me. I find that once you take the time to figure out the complexities, this map really rewards you for your efforts. I have no changes to suggest; I just wanted to drop in and say that this map has won me over.

Love the map.

My only request would be the bonuses would be a little more clearly defined when it comes to continents.

I have played it a number of times and still dont fully understand them.
