Congrats, great map TBK! I've enjoyed quite a few games already, I'm sure I'll enjoy many more.

Is it just me, or are team games kind of broken on this map?

Granted, I've only played 2, but in both of them my team went second and by the second round all of our superpowers were gone and didn't have a prayer of getting them back.

You risk taking them with the negative bonus, and they can be conquered back by through the flagged regions on Africa. The strategy employed against you does appear to be the best though.

Gilligin, you mean that is a kind of a bug or u just find it hard to get the powers back when someone gets it from you?

nolefan, u CANNOT take attack the powers from the landing territories, they are 1 way assaulted by the powers. Powers can only be assaulted by direct bordering territories

This is incorrect. Landing Territories can all be 1 way assaulted from any European Power, but they can also assault back to their corresponding power (Zululand can assault Great Britain, Spanish Guinea can assault Spain, Ivory Coast can assault France, etc)

Yeah, but the negative bonuses don't apply when you have only two.

And yeah, you can attack back to them, but that's just more neutrals you need to go through and another round of autodeploy against you on the superpower.

I've finsihed 17 team games and the team that goes second is 7-10.

Well, if it were purely random, you would expect the second team to win 8.5 out of 17, so this doesn't surprise me.

It is hard to win half a game. :D

That being said, small sample size really. But, I do think my 18th game will make it 7-11. First might have some advantage, but I don't think it's really large.

Can someone provide a link to where the final specs of this map are? I'm mainly looking for finding out what territs are always starting neutrals outside of the powers attacking spots in Africa.

Thanks!
