This is true, I haven't seen a single person hold any more than 2 at a time in the games I've played. SO they bonuses will stay as they are. AS for the Manchuria/Mongolia bonuses, I have decided to just increase Manchuria from 3 to 4. The one way attack will stay where it is and Mongolia will stay as it is. I'll post the updates later today.

Can you please make an arrow showing that Taiwan and fujian bombard each other.

It is not apparent from looking at the map layout. Thank you.

the font is not clear enough, especially with such unfamiliar names.

Which font and where? As far as I know you're the only one who has complained about it so I will wait to see if anyone else has the same complaint.

i think he's talking about the terit names. i do have some problems distinguishing "a" and "o" on the small map but it's nothing to worry about. i think the font fits the style very well and i would not change it.
also even if i misread an "a" for an "o" i doubt this hinders the gameplay in any way whatsoever.

FYI

I just found out they bombarded each other and looked through the map and couldnt find the explanation for why they bombarded each other. Now you can argue I didnt look close enough but it was difficult to find. I only found it from looking at this thread.

You really may want to make it more obvious on the map..

Thanks

People may write off the bombarding because glancing at the text, without reading it, looks like it could be all about impassables. Not much you can do, since there is not much more room for extra space. The only thing you could do is alter the text color, or the highlight fog/cloud around it to offset the information more.

changing the text color of the bombard statement would certainly help :)

Okay, I have rearranged the legend a bit and colored the text for the Bombardments and Impassables, hopefully this is easier to understand now.

You having a laugh with that red on impassables. It is the brightest thing on the map, in fact it is so bright I cannot see the map from all of the glare coming of it. ;)

Please tone it down some.

EDIT: bombards, not impassables.

I'd probably remove some of that sheen from red, but overall, I've been more than satisfied with this excellent map.

hmmm... ok I didn't follow the reasons that went into this, but I absolutely hate the Taipei-Fujien bombard. Sorry. I don't see what purpose it serves at all! The Wu bonus is already extremely cumbersome so hold. It has a lot of natural bonuses, it a can be held but not easily. Now that Taipei can bombard it, it's like why even try to hold the bonus?

I could understand an actual connection to break up the long linear sea route, that makes sense. Also a sea connection would allow a player holding Wu to use Taipei as a reinforced border with a +2 autodeploy.

I say make it an attack route or remove it all together but this bombardment seems to help no player and just diminishes the playability of that region.
