Apparently you reintroduced that Omaha/Lincoln bug with that update.

I can see having them 2-5. Having airports at 2 but resetting should maybe be a consideration.

I've played some games on USA 2.1, and actually won two of them... (one win was because other players just dropped out, since it's such a huge map, and it takes a lot of patience and attention to detail on every turn). I think having n5 neutral on the airports is good, because they play such a critical part in the final stages of a game, especially with the Trench option. Resetting with n2 neutral wouldn't be good with trench.

Noticed that in the game log, Missouri is abbreviated as MI instead of MO. No mistake though in the graphics (mini-map and legend for St Louis).

i know exactly what u mean. i missed my plane once, going from toronto to detroit, because of the thoroughness of the TSA in processing each passenger.

killer neutral airports cannot be used for this map because the airports are part of the state bonuses. the road through calgary, which does have a killer neutral, works because calgary is not part of any bonuses.

the USALive (2).xml file still has this error.

ISAIAH!

No wonder the army for Augusta is never right. The live map doesn't match the one in your first post! :|

Here is the FINAL fix.

1) Small Augusta is proper
2) Missouri (MI) changed to Missouri (MO)
3) Lincoln is now in the Rockies Capital bonus instead of Omaha

Now that we finally found the issue we can quench this bad boy.

Are you only supposed to get a single +1 bonus for the capitals? The way the map index reads it seems like you get +1 for every 2 capitals but I am definitively not getting that in my present game. If you are only entitled to one bonus, I think the map index should be correct to indicate as such.

There are two capital bonuses, the standard capital bonus and the interstate capital bonus. Your game is fog so I can't check it.

I love this map! Ive noticed two things that give students of this map an advantage over novices.

1) holding the capitals of minnesota and iowa seems to give a +4 bonus. If this is intended to be a subsidy for occupying those states, novices would benefit from having this information up front.

2) i play fog almost exclusively on this map. Given the large list of variable bonuses (and their static order in the console readout), it is often possible to divine an opponent's holdings through mere familiarity with the map.

Thanks to the author for making a truly awesome map.

It is actually +3 - +1 for holding 2 capitals, and +2 for holding capitals on an interstate

Whenever I hold the capitals of Minnesota and Iowa, the map gives me "+4 for holding capitals along hwy 35".

Ive also previously received a +6 for capitals along 95 when only holding 5 capitals.

Well, remember that DC is a capital along 95.

<territory>Augusta (Maine)</territory>
<territory>Boston</territory>
<territory>Providence</territory>
<territory>Trenton</territory>
<territory>D.C.</territory>
<territory>Richmond</territory>
<territory>Raleigh</territory>

this is correct.

As far as 35,

<territory>Saint Paul</territory>
<territory>Des Moines</territory>
<territory>Oklahoma City</territory>
<territory>Austin</territory>

this is also correct. if you can show us in a game, that would be good because the XML shows it is correct.

I was counting DC.

Game 13564186 just gave me +4 along 35 and I only hold 3 of the 4 capitals. The game is foggy, but the bug seems easily and reliably reproducible in every game.

Wow, Ive had easier times getting customer service from call center workers.

Im afraid we're going in circles here. I came to report a bug, have repeated all the relevant info, and have now reached the limits of my interest and patience.

Its a wonderful map, congratulations! Best of luck with the rest of it.

I'm sorry, you have not repeated all of the relevant info. If I can't see the map, how can I confirm that it isn't working properly?

It's part of the procedure to provide a screenshot to make sure that 1) it is indeed a bug, or 2) you are making a mistake somewhere and I can tell you exactly what that is.

Exactly! Now if you can please provide a screenshot to Gilligan and myself so we can take a look at it. If customer service asks you to provide more information, and you don't provide the necessary info, how do you expect them to help you? We are asking for more information so we can help you.
