but i don't want them to be dropped. i want them to start neutral with a value of 3.

every terit except the toys will be dropped randomly to all players except the toys.

Why not?

-Sully

i don't want them distributed from the start because some guy might get lucky and get 4-5 of them while others will get none and that's not fair.
by making them start as neutral 3 i make sure that nobody gets any kind of bonuses right from the start.

Hm, I suppose. What do the drop numbers look like for this map?

68 terits - 58 divided and 10 as neutral.

2&3p - 19 each + 1 neutral
4p - 14 each + 2 neutral
5p - 11 each + 3 neutral
6p - 9 each + 4 neutral
7p - 8 each + 2 neutral
8p - 7 each + 2 neutral

so no problems :)

What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: it's uber cool

Honestly mate? I struggle to agree. I have come back to look at this a few times and I just don't get it. I kinda like what you did the the quilted material...looks rather cool. But past the quilt itself the rest of it just looks like clutter to me. Honestly...I am trying to be more constructive. But nothing is coming to me.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

How will bonuses be referred to in the log or game chat?

Also, the text on the big central bonus is hard on the eye.

And just for the record - if it were up to me, I'd call this map 'Patchwork'...or maybe even 'Patchwar' at a push. Just saying.

I had initially this same sort of reaction, and it persisted for a while too. But this quilt map, being all fuzzy and kiddy and homey, warmed me up and now I want to play on it with a nice glass of milk and a mother goose rhymes book.

Let's not be petty now, DiM. You and natty are both men of the Foundry. At least act like it in this forum and we might be able to get some kickass maps through this thing (faster).

i'm not being petty, i got tired of his attitude so i've put him on ignore for a few months. it's working great if people don't quote him and it saves me a lot of time because i don't have to read or answer to his obnoxious posts. the ignore feature exists there for a reason and i'm glad i'm using it especially after reading that latest sample of idiocy that you quoted

now, let's forget about this subject. he's an insignificant internet troll and i don't want my thread jacked.
PS: you haven't answered my xml pm :P
