I've checked the xml attached to this post --> viewtopic.php?f=64&t=156364&start=270#p3988624

If that one is the right file, there're few things to fix:

1. Oamaru is written as omaru in the xml.
2. Wakatane shouldn't start neutral 3
3. Nelson has 1 autodeploy on it, when it should be Nelson N.P. to have it
4. Hurunui shouldn't have 1 autodeploy
5. Gisborne has 4 neutral on it but they should be on Ruatoria
6. Mt. Taranaki should have 4 neutral, as stated in the legend
7. Tahiape misses the 1 autodeploy
8. Hastings misses the 1 autodeploy

I think that's all.
A final personal suggestion: I noticed the Q.T. white airplane is very hidden, but I have no idea how you can make it more visible. But it sounds like the hidden tribe name in your pot mosby map so take it only like a personal thought and not a stamp requirement. As said no idea how to make it more visible without having it lokking bad.
I was going to suggest to have matamata listed with the others, but after looking at the map on the whole and considering the size and the shape of it, I think you made a good choice in having that abbreviation in the top part.

Anyway...looking forward the final files, then we'll be ready to play!

Sounds close ... my 2c worth is that perhaps you could switch the yellows between Wellington and Otago? The deeper yellow may serve better against the white plane? But again, don't do that if it's going to make South Island look ugly!

Switching those yellows is not an option because the brighter yellow would become larger and draw ones eye to it too often...quite mucking up overall design.
As for the plane, tbh, if players don't bother to look at what they're doing (like happened on PM), that is their issue. The plane is quite clear on that territory. And if they don't see it initially, they'll soon find out it is there when someone attacks them from it.

the attachments are fine cairnswk, I would like people start to use only that way instead of external sites like fileden.
Anyway going to check the new files now.

Last Call

The map has passed through rigorous gameplay and graphics examinations and all major concerns have been addressed. If you have any other concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be stamped and submitted for the Beta period.

Please, post questions and concerns if any.

Sorry for weighing in way late. But, those bonuses just look way too large.

Yes...well less said about that the better, otherwise i'll get banned...
have you considered the plane routes...given Auckland for instance which has has three borders and is assaultable from all white aircraft and black aircraft on north island ?

I agree with cairns. Given all of the attackable regions it seems to me everything is pretty fair and balanced. Beta might be the place to work anything else out I would think.

Speaking of which, is there an update on a possible beta timeline for this one?

Nice work cairns, beautiful job as always.

Thank-you Seamus.
No there is no word on BETA for anything at present, as you know, we are not being communicated with...everything is very secretive.

          Beta - Quenching

---The standard development period has concluded for the New Zealand Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any site vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

              Image

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
    1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. It is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
    3. Write a "creative" map description and send it to the Foundry Foreman via PM. You're encouraged to post it into the first post of the thread as well; the description will be used to populate the maps database.
