Sooo.... how are you going to change playibility? that's what sucks about this map, not the graphics.

Completely disagree. The playability is why it gets played when it does.

They are an actual picture of people in a stadium. I them deleted out spaces with different eraser shapes. I added a bevel to the entire crowd to help with the lighting.

It is called perspective. The point of view of the camera makes the close side look thinner. That is the nature of 3D.

yeah but if you would paint a line from thin part near caligvla you will see that part is much thicker while it is not much distance from eachother
and also if you want to make perspective then you must change the thick part to i guess

Could you change the colouring of the crowd?

Someone else pointed out that they are mostly Red...

Could you have sections of different supporters for each team taking place?

i.e. a red, green, blue, yellow, cyan and pink section?

C.

PS I prefered my Hoardings idea for names but not sure if it would work?
PPS Prefered the bumpier track.

I agree with wicked. Nobody plays this map because game playability is shit. Do you they will play it now because the graphics are better??

It's a tricky one lol

There is a difference between people not playing a map because they don't like the style of play it promotes, and people not playing a map because the gameplay is broken. I may not like the style of play Circus Maximus promotes, but I don't think it's broken. I think it is fine and should stay the way it is.

exactly. its an original style of gameplay...and people love it or hate it. either way it shouldnt be changed....make a new map if you want different gameplay.

And that's why we shouldn't change the gameplay. Keep it as it is.

But for the territory names, I always tend to take 'Inside Lane' as the lane inside the other two, so can it be changed? I can't think of any other replacement word though...

OK here is another update.
*I added some different colors to the crowd
*Made the center of the track closer to the pictures I have found on the net.

Hm, I'm liking the look of the map. It brings me back to the days when Rocksolid was trying to hash out this idea in the Foundry.

Hm, would you consider moving the Diocletian name slightly, so the coordinates aren't so close to it?

Also maybe move the coordinates slightly for Flavius, as they are much closer to the arrow point than in the other 'countries' on the map.

I still see a lot of red in the crowd. :) But as I usually create most of the games I play, I guess I'd be fine with the extra crowd support. ;)

Gorgeous work, WidowMakers.
