Oh, man, I can already tell that this map and I are headed for an abusive relationship.

After last night's horrific raping at the hands of benjikat, I go to play my other two 1v1s today. Coming off turns where my opponent took a total of 11 (maybe 12) terits from me, I plan my strategy, deploy my armies (still getting a respectable 11 in both)... and kill a grand total of four terits and maybe 8 armies. I had 0-2 streaks of four in one game and five in another...

I want to hang myself. This is going to be another Iraq, a map I love that I can't win on (regularly).

I have the same relationship with iraq (and even with 70% win rate on arms race, I'm down 250 pts).

Loving this map though - (am 11-1 now in 1v1s) - it's got a bit of AoR/ Feudal, A bit of Waterloo, and a whole lot of attitude :)

Congratz to mibi et. al. =D> =D> =D>

(And to disprove hulmey's insistence of the importance of the yard once and for all, I just went second in a game where I had only 1 guy in the yard which I promptly lost before my turn.)

oh and the only army co-ords that really offend me on the small map (yes I always use small maps) is Dominik - I have no idea about the large map.

Well, I'm about to go 0-3, which is disappointing, especially after I started off something like 35-3 on arms race. The dice have been exceptionally cruel. :(

Maybe I'll win my next 35 straight games.

Shouldn't Parish be able to attack Booking?

There needs to be bath house. With a territory called "soap". If you control the bathhouse and soap you get +5 like warden/chamber. If you lose the soap though, drop it in other words, you get the -5 bonus

No, you have to go through the hall and lounge first.

Supermax prisons don't have communal showers. You need medium or minimum security prisons for that.

Supermax's also don't have communal 'yards' but lets just forget about all that.

Yeah, that's just what the map needs, more opportunities for immature assholes (like myself) to crack rape jokes...

If I'm not mistaken, the bonus is only given out as additional gang members to the leader. So when you counted 5 and 9, it was really 4 and 8 because you were including the leader in your count of members. That may be wrong, there may actually be a glitch on the map, but they rarely get through quenching, so I'd think the problem is, no offense meant, on your end.

Hope that helped :D

Well even if the gang leader dose not counts as 1, i did post that on 1 turn i had 7 members, then took 2 more, yet the very next turn i had still 7 even though i hadn't lost any So either way its not my counting as i know i gained 2 more members yet it still said the same number...i swear i had 7 and then 9 both including the leader but perhaps i was wrong.... Plus i've only had this problem with the aryan brotherhood gang, and only with the two territories i took but wasn't credited for by the gang bonus, i've played the map a few times and had no problem with any other gang, only with members Gregor and Tyler.

Numbers are calculated EXCLUDING the gang leader. For that 2 more case, you went from owning 6 Gang members to 8, for which there is no subset bonus. To get the 9 gang member bonus, your bonus would actually read 10 Gang Members.

On another front, the title says "Unite your gang to SURIVE", which is missing the first V in surVive. A quick graphical patch should fix it up. It's present on both large and small.

But I read that you can attack from anywhere to anywhere in the same or connected rooms, and they're connected.

I'm probably just misinterpreting

by that logic, anywhere can attack anywhere, since everything is connected. You can can only attack to the next room over.

Makes sense. Thanks :)

Maybe change 'connected' to 'adjacent'?

almost none of the numbers are on center. the circles aren't able to be centered properly. It's a prison so we can't expect them to play by the rules. Their grammar is probably poor as well so that's why they can't spell survive properly.

You are correct in your observations. It's dirty, nasty, and full of anal slime. Enjoy your stay.

1 game done, 3 going and I am in love with this map. Plenty of directions to go as far as strategy is concerned. Considering the sheer amount of available terits, it's actually quite easy to read and assess the bonuses quickly.

Kudos on an awesome map. I was really looking forward to this one being installed & it's lived up to all expectations.

Question: now that this has been out for a bit, what are considered some of the best settings for it?
