Ill wait for your quries on te legends text.

OK, here are my suggestions regarding the legend:

Existing Text: You are king of one of Feudal six great empires.

Proposed Change: You are king of one of Feudal's six great empires

Logic: better grammar

===========================================

Existing Text: You must fight to unite the land under ones rule.

Proposed Change: You must fight to unite the land under your rule.

Logic: sounds better

============================================

Existing Text: You must fight to unite the land under ones rule.

Proposed Change: You must fight to unite the land under your rule.

Logic: sounds better

============================================

Existing Text: Every player begins in a single castle.

Proposed Change: none*

Logic: is this right ????? i assumed it would be the same as age of realms

==========================================

Existing Text: Victory is gained by conquering all castles

Proposed Change: none*

Logic: is this right ????? i assumed it would be the same as age of realms

==========================================

*will propose alternative wording for the two queries above if the statements are indeed incorrect

=============================================

Existing Text: Castle give a +5 automatically deployed bonus

Proposed Change: Each turn +5 is auto deployed on your castle(s)

Logic: easier to understand and reads better

============================================

Existing Text: Village gives a +3 automatically deployed bonus

Proposed Change: Each turn +3 is auto deployed on your village(s)

Logic: easier to understand and reads better

=========================================

Thanks rebelman, i will change these for you. And the other 2 quires are correct. Except AoM is the same as feudal, i developed this gameplay and i proposed the trilpgy for AoR (It was first called feudal war before KEYOGI and andy werent happy about this)

ok that what I thought so heres my proposed wording change for the other 2:

Existing Text: Every player begins in a single castle.

Proposed Change: Every player begins in their castle(s)

Logic: more accurate

==========================================

Existing Text: Victory is gained by conquering all castles

Proposed Change: victory can be gained by conquering and holding your opponent's castles

Logic: more accurate even if it is more wordy as there are other ways to gain victory and they do not need to conquer neutral castles to be victorious

==========================================

the 1st ones fine, but hte objective is to hold ALL the castles, is not possible to program the objective to be only for the active castles.

Ill confirm with yeti_C but in the XML this is what i had to write:

Code: Select all
<objective>
   <components>
      <component>Feudal Empire Castle</component>
      <component>Rebel Territory Castle</component>
      <component>The Great Kingdom Castle</component>
      <component>Barbarians Castle</component>
      <component>Realm of Might Castle</component>
      <component>Imperial Dynasty Castle</component>
   </components>
</objective>

As you see there is no way (That i know of) that tells me i can conqer 4 "active castles" to win. However with objectives you dont need to takethe objrctive to win the game. You can simply take out all your opponents(which requires there castle) THis may be where your getting mixed up.

Please take note that the army numbers are not where the XML has positioned the numbers, this is jsut to show the number of neutrals each terr will have.

Anyway as I said I'm posting this having yet to read this thread, once I have read it I will make some more reasoned and sensible observations hopefully.

i can already see the game log:

with a sharp tee shot DiM takes a good aproach for the south hole.

Gimil is up. he has a nicely laid put shot in front of him. a bit of concentration and he'll be the new champion of the feudal trophy.
he looks he takes a short swing and....and...and....it's in the bunker. an unbelieveble shot that went in the sand. filled with andger he goes to the bunker and he hits and hits and hits and hits. he start cursing and jumping around like a mad man. the officials have him removed from the field. now it's just DiM and the wind and the grass the ball and the 9 iron. an extremely difficult shot over the lake. the veterans say he should play it safe. but he's not that kind. he takes a chance and swings. and ladies and gentlemen we have a hole in one. incredible. he is the new feudal golf course champion.

DiM wrote:you should see my massive 9 iron. then talk about hole in one :roll:

now take your itsy bitsy putter and go to the bunker. :lol: :lol:
