We just had this happen (not double death but someone dieing on missile launch) in a doubles 4 player game. My partner was the one left on the launch. He hit start, got killed, and then... it was my turn. Which was wrong because it shouldn't have been. Both teams were down to 1 now so I went and then the other team's remaining player got deferred armies. Red was eliminated, blue was skipped, and I was green. Yellow was already dead. This seems like a glitch in the gaming code.

People stuck on missile launch was an accepted worst case scenario. If you look on some of the last pages prior to Quench, you'll see a more indepth discussion on it.

I looked everywhere for an answer to this, but no luck.

In a doubles game, why can I only fortify to about half of my teammate's territories? Not all are listed as an option to fortify to, and after several turns now I cannot figure out any rhyme or reason. I have not been able to fortify to any teammate territory where armies were actually needed.

you managed to leave out the most important part of the game log from your post

a neutral player being kicked out for missing turns is not something a mapmaker can fix. I think it's safe to assume that is why the other follies came about. I can only hope you brought this up in the bugs forum.

Arms Race Board is broken

You do not get the +50 troops when holding the President, launch code, and entire missile.
also you no longer have to occupy all the regions on the missile to still be allowed to Bombard enemy regions in the other country.
PLEASE FIX IT as it is not right

Its fog of war so your link does not help.

You don't have to hold anything except for the missile launch to be able to bombard the enemy. No launch code, president or missile territories required.

And I assure you the +50 bonus works properly. Make sure you are holding the correct launch code and president/premiere to correspond with your missile. Also make sure that you are still holding the entire missile at the start of your turn (no territories bombarded by the enemy).

i'm playing arm's race everyday and you don't need the entire missile to be able to bombard the enemy's region, i do get 50 armies to hold president launch code and entire missile, the only problem with this map it's that the rolls are like a beta map

Yes, nothing wrong with the missile / bonus scenario - its entirely possible to win without holding the +50 and just bombarding with what you have - my opponent has just proved it lol :cry:

happening to me in a game, i killed all the green, but 1 left on titan II missile launch and I go to attack or bombard from SS-18 Missile launch and it and it does not let me?????, instead green goes and I get NO points cause it is terminator and I had him easy 11 vs 1 to bombard it? :?


get the map maker to fix it or eliminate it til worked out, shame too, cause nice little map

it's not a bmap bug, but a recurring issue in the game engine. The same thing happes on the Naval Superiority tert on Eaatern Hemishpere, or on any map where a player's last tert reverts to neutral. Sucks.

I'm a little confused. This is my first time playing this map. So the nuclear strike is when you hold launch code, president, and missile? and what exactly is the deal with the missile launch resetting to 15 if it is occupied at the start of your turn. how would you ever hold it to attack then? I'm sure I'll see soon, but don't wanna botch up my game. thanks anyone.

You don't need to hold the top of the missile for the bonus.

You don't need to hold the top of the missile for the bonus.


ok so basically you just have to kill the 15 if you want to bombard the other territory

But why does the nutral killer give deferred troops? Could that be fixed? That game was lost for me... It was very unfair to my contrinctant.

I am in a situation where only 2 missile launch land
i found that there is some info not state in the map
the problem i found is i want into a possible but rare situations
opposing missle launch could not bomard each other

On the map there is this statement missile launch could bomard any foreign territory and opposing missle.
If anyone could explain why the missle launch is not consider as a foreign territory or opposing missle

If it is possible that we put a statement that missle launch could not bomard each other

this would make the game more clear

hi i am sure the mods in c and a are getting feed up with complaints of truce breaking backstabbing intentionally throwing of the game for this board. i think i have came up with a solution to this would it be possible to make a code for the board to say that you cann't attack the silo until all uraniums and bunkers are held . i dont know if this would be possible but think it would help with the following.

1) would stop putting the weakest of the 3 players in a bad situation having to make a choice of who he wants to win the game. not matter what anybody says this is what is actually happening.

2)would stop all the complaints coming in from the players that decide that the weaker player is either backstabbing or throwing games

3)would stop giving the mods a headache about this board where i feel that if all of this carries on they are just going to delete the board and none of us arms race fans want this to happen.
