Conquer Club

Before i start(well you know me i already work in researc of these WWII operation)work on these map,i have some thing who will be a problem.
These map will be much diferent then mine previos map,because insted to have terittory with borders i will put military map marking symbol(unit symbol,tactical marking,headquarter unit)
-65 unit will be presented on map(most of these is Division,others Corps and Army)conected with lines
-6 country
-Names-i know all names of these unit,but bigest problem is Sixth SS Panzer Army,also 7 unit is SS.
German prepare for these offensive 3 Army-7th,5thPZ and 6th SS PZ.
Maybe you thinking what i want to say,well perhaps these name not be acetable for some people and i want to know these before start these map.

well just think about it, at least half of the people here (might) now know the mean of SS (i do) just think of it as a substitute for the symbol that 'He' justed when 'He' started WWII. if you catch my drift.

well here is first experimental image,ofcourse unit must be put in good place,some unit mising,emblems of german army still searching.Also i put wrong unit symbol,but i will change these to.
This is concept of these map,if you like i will continue work.

this gives a much more RTS/military feel to it than other maps, thats why i like it:)

Great start - my immediate concern is that some of those symbols are very close to each other...

Perhaps try to differentiate them somehow?

I don't think different overall colour is a good idea...

Perhaps colour some of the middle bits?

You are changing the style of map that players are used to (Classic).

Will players like it....given they don't understand most of my "line" maps?

I think it is great, and there should be more of it. Full support from me.

I want to create something new,with new style"Cairnswik conection style"
Like i say these is map of Ardennes ofensive,and its a litle dificulty to create map with these theme and present with terittories who have borders.
With original unit symbol,i hope that map look realy Military map,and if people support these style i will continue work.
(maybe to put pool question)

I think you're on your own on finding those. The worst case scenario is you may need to make something up *gasp* .

I know how uncomfortable you are with that though, so I guess you just need to keep searching.
