Yes, i can probably loose some legend areas in the upcoming updates to make it a bit smaller. or reduce the number of terts....i think 48 would be the next size down for an 8 player game.
currently at 59.

48 = 2x24, 3x16, 4x12, 5x9+3n, 6x8, 7x6+6n, 8x6

at 48 it might be good for a medium size speed game.

For those that don't know already, you can actually change your vote in polls now apparently. A nice new feature.

You can also set polls where you can check multiple options - like in the game finder.

I'm all for it, cairns... though it would be cool to see a little more Sydney flavor, if it doesn't clutter the map too much

I'm all for this.... I'd like to see the opera house done as an army circle, like the statue of liberty in the new york map.

Colours could perhaps use a bit of updating. Inner west and randwick are pretty close, and hard to distinguish from the water...

I like the use of roads as impassables, but the "pedestrian crossings" look a bit awkward... perhaps foot bridges would be a better idea?

I am going to stick with the pedestrian crossing, as this hasn't been done before on a CC map in play whereas bridges have, and i had foot bridges on the previous attempts and they didn't go down well. me and bridges are not exactly graphically compatable.

I'd like to see it spread out a bit more too... move the bonuses and the "statistics" somewhere else and give yourself a bit of extra room?

No, only 18, and two neutrals. in a 1v1 game, there is a third neutral player so that you dont start off with too many territories.

Mainly that whenever I've been to Sydney I've found the people too self-important, and concerned with their own worlds to even smile at a stranger on the street... Nothing like Perth or Bunbury at all. I have no idea how you'd convey that in graphics and it's more of a friendly dig at Sydney, rather than anything serious

well living in sydney for 7 years good to see
will be interesting to see the interest for a city map

56 terrs would be good. still a really big 1v1 map. i wouldnt play anything over50 territories 1v1
but yer
bonus's need some work. and same with space issues. but this has already been said and im sure your working on that in the next update

Oh i see...even that old victorian / nsw rivalry hits at you eh?

I know what you're on about...but that's what happens in a large city doesn't it. anyways, it didn't affect me cos i still got plenty of smiles. you know, one thing about sydney, is that you never get bored with the streets projections....it's not grided like NY or USA cities....i often say that the streets were built on all the old goat tracks but it's a wonderful panorama.
