The way the left side dow explanation is set up, I keep on trying to read the right side explanation the same way, when it's two discrete paragraphs. Any chance of fixing this?

You could add a small divider line between the Nile and the Dow explanation, and give a little more space to that section of the columns (with a little more spacing on the left side explanation, sans divider).

don't forget there is +1 for autodeploy. it only has three to defend even though 4 attacking, i still only think 3 os necessary. :)

first off i think the +3 is fine. although maybe Saka could be 3...
I like this map quite a lot. looking forward to playing the other Egypt maps you're making as well :)
not much to say. glad you distinguished between the different Dows though (i haven't looked at this map for a while)

Mmmm. i think that 4 is good for Saka...4 terts to defend from attack.

yes but theres high chance someone can begin a game and automatically get that bonus and hence be able to create immediate havoc without the opponent having any chance at all.

doesn't that apply to all maps though, there is a chance that every map will have that good drop and thus benefit someone from the start.

this is the first time i've looked at this map, and i really like it.

at first glance it seems confusing, but it's actually one of the easiest to play that i've seen from you in a while

i look forward to seeing this progress

Check out lower Egypt in Quenched. It's even easier, and the whole series including VOTK will make for a great tournie group.

              Final Forge

---The Upper Egypt Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry Furnace (okay, maybe not) and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.
