Makes sense. I'm colorblindish too- but with blue/green/grayish colors so I know where you're coming from. There's a few maps on the site that are really hard for me to read, so it can be changed
Only problem I see with this would be two green being next to one another, might be hard to distinguish.

Easy fix. I'm on a Wacom tablet now so I can make finely tuned attack routes. Easy peazy.
