a 'rank long hop' is a ball so bad that your gran could hit it for 6 using only a zimmer and some cod liver oil.

I am loving this map. Just a couple of things....... :mrgreen:

I have no idea how accurate you want to be and bearing that in mind you may disregard the 'details' in you want.

1. The Lord's test was the second of the series.
2. England batted first

Now for the important bit.................the scoreboard.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...........assuming it is the afternoon drinks break, England were somewhere around 170 to 180 for 0, and Australia had bowled about 46 overs.

Just thought I'd throw that into the mix. It's not often us poms get the upperhand. :D As proved this last weekend :oops:

Is there any security on the Pavillion...or prehaps Press.....?
i was thinking perhaps a way of attacking the guys in the pavillion from the public areas.

I know the batsmen have one way attacks to the sixes. Can you also have the sixes one way attack the fielders? It'll be like the spectators throwing the ball back.

Obviously, that'll only work if the spectators can attack the sixes. Can they?

Oh yes the spectators can attack the sixes, as in catching them.
well, yes the sixes could one-way attack fieldsman, but what about the two spectators either side attacking the fieldsman (like throwing the ball back),

Oh, sorry man, I was at conquer crater... You should check it out sometme...

Anyway, looking at the map, I don't have any complaints, the only thing you might want to do is just Check on all of the cricket rules and layouts before you move forward, just in case :D

Oh cairnswk, this looks so good!!

I love these complex maps, one question.. how would I get from the public stands onto the pitch. It seems it's blocked off everywhere? Or am I missing an entry point?

public 7 through les and judy?
public 4 through max
public 3 through mum
public 2 through bunter

At present...only....
Police Room to PC3
Public 7 & 8 to PC3
and anyone in the Pavillion waiting to bat to Batsman 2
can you not see there is picket fence around the perimeter of the oval?
Now, i need to extend Public 2 so that it joins with Public 14 under the Pavillion, you know like a pathway all around the oval.
And i'll do that with dotted lines like a tunnel.
then i need to know from someone who has been to this grounds, there is access into the Pavillion from the Public Areas, yes.
Also, is there any other access onto the oval that could be done here.
I'd thought more about the 6s....
there is going to be access from the either batsman to 6s at opposite ends of their position, and either person in the grandstand will be able to access that 6 bordering them.
Then i thought that getting the ball back onto the oval should be via the closest fieldsman.
So BD6 (Bunter and Dad 6) would have access through Fine Leg.
Does that all sound feasible?
