is it possible to have MY GAMES seperated into two catagories for us addicts "freestyle" & "sequential" i play alot of games - finished 142 but i spend most of my time looking thru my list of games looking for my turn i'd like to find the rush one's first then look at the ones i can take my time with -- i know this is my problem for being in so many at a time but if you get to a freestyle just a little late it can cost the game - but maybe i'm not the only addict w/ this problem or maybe a button that when you hit it brings a list of games w/ your turn (green) up at the beginning and waiting turn at the bottom and for those who forget to end the yellow button in the middle

Wacicha: You really should take up something more productive than putting your lifes marbles into Freestyle Risk. Maybe take up Juggling Ben Wa Balls?

now if i remember my ball catagories you don't juggle ben wah balls thier i used for strengthning certain muscles of the female type. but i spend a lot of time on my computers. i own 1 online casino & pokerroom and i online straight poker room and i help my son on his company when needed to answer phones and sit at a computer online playing risk and cards at the same time - is easy. so sometimes rather than wait 24hrs for a turn i play freestyle and watch for my next move

Gawd, what a sweet life you got, wacicha. I'm all jealous.

Also, I support this idea. Old games might as well be moved onto a separate page; the way they currently are they aren't very useful and you have to go to your profile anyway. I'd find a separation between freestyle and sequential games very visually useful.

This is a pretty easy change in PHP - simply make the column headings clickable to sort the MySQL - it would be good also to switch ASC/DESC order on alternating clicks of the same column heading.

In addition to the idea of sorting the "My Games" idea, which is a great one, I would like to add another option to this.

Currently in the 'My Games' page there is tabs for:
Active
Awaiting Players
Eliminated
Recently Finished

My suggestion is solely, and could be easily implemented, to add a new tab between Active and Awaiting Players, that is simply:
Ready To Play

In this tab it simply lists only those games that for you are Ready To Play or that you are currently playing, this will also mean taat as soon as you open your 'My Games' page you will immediately see the number of games that are waiting for you.

Being tha fact that there is plenty of rooms for tabs you could even seperate these into two additional tabs:
Ready To Play
Playing.

how about a further sort by amount of time left to take your turn and then amount of time before its your turn so u get priority turns at the top?

i've only got 6 so its not a problem really

I don't care how old the thread is, I would like a button that has just games that are on my turn. I play a lot of sequential games so that I can typically get on and take several turns at once. This way i could find them all at once.

I think that would be good.

Recently I missed a turn in a couple of games, and it caused me victory in both of them. Basically what happened was I had an appointment that I had to get to. I quickly logged into the site and I could make a move in the majority of my games. I knew that I had at least 10 hours in most of them, but in a couple of them I had to take my turns right then. I just didn't have enough time to look through all the games to find out which ones.

The way it is set up just now really isn't efficient. I have a headache right now I can't really be bothered thinking up other ways in which games can be sorted. But sorting games in order of shortest time left would be really really useful.

Concise description:

Change My Games sorter so Freestyle games are played first

Specifics/Details:

Right now games on My Games are sorted by "Playable" and "Waiting," both in order of shortest time left. Proposal would amend this to play Freestyle games before Sequential games when you click on the "Jump to Next" link.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

Since Freestyle games are typically more time sensitive, this will get those taken care of first when a player logs in. I often check my games 2-3 times a day, and I usually play about 90% seq so it takes me about 1/2 an hour to get through my seq games that are waiting. It is really annoying to find a freestyle game at the end of the list, since I could have made that turn at the top and the other players take their turns in the meantime, making for more efficient and enjoyable gameplay. This would only affect games that are ready to play: the games waiting for turn would remain unchanged.
