I'd be shocked to see KORT or TSM enter, and right now I'd say THOTA would be unlikely too. I think between the Clan League, clan wars, and the first CC some of the top flight clans (who go deep into any competition) are going to be suffering some burnout.

didn't THOTA sit out CLA3 in anticipation of joining this?

Hmmm, I must've missed the post where a THOTA representative laid out the reasons that they didn't participate in season 3. Not like I would know anything about that...

Question.....

You have stipulated that games sent must already have been created. This makes it very easy via Game Finder to check what games your opponents have created. The only way to avoid this (and retain that rule) is to create one's games at the very last minute, which unfortunately will only serve to encourage unnecessary delays.

If you wish to adhere to this rule of games having to be created then the deadline should stipulate what time you are working to (e.g. midnight EST, GMT, etc) and not simply a date.

The alternative is to abolish this rule and replace it with a system whereby each clan PMs the game details to the TO who, upon receipt of a PM from each clan, instructs the two parties to create the games in accordance with the details submitted.

all that rules about deadline for exchanging games are without purpose if some clan is constantly lating to deadlines, etc stalling sending home games from batch 2 and batch 3 in last CCup semis, or still dont make playoff games in CLA League no matter that deadline was 29th of January (all done by TOFU clan). it should have been some punishment for exceeding deadlines, some players plan their games/free slots according to deadline so then stalling the deadline by 1 month, like it was in last batch of CCup semis, changes a lot of plans of other clan. so, it should be defined deadline, but also exceeding the deadline have to be punished on some way. for what purpose is deadline of exchanging games if some clan constantly exceeds it?

previous CoF's post really sounds like bringing up some past issues in topic which is not intended for that, so I think he deserve some warning like I got when did the same. it seems like someone can constantly bring up the past issues and calling other players irritating clowns without being warned, and once when I bring some past issue without calling anyone clown, I was warned ASAP.

This is not like any other war as the clans do not get to pick and choose who they face. This is a private event and privilege rules have not been clearly defined yet for these types of things. There are 3 examples and both CCup1 and CL2 and CL3 were all handled completely different. We don't have the consistency we should have for various reasons.

As for medals, only the winners will receive medals in a private event. Again, new standards have to be created around formats and minimum sizes etc. This is a good example of what the new CLA should be consulted on. The CCup2 does not meet the "open negotiation" current rule, nor 2 or 3 of the new rules coming that chuuuuck is aware of. All the leauges had Top-Player awards and that is something that Chuuuck and I should be discussing now rather than later.

Sorry, all, the nature of my business I just get really busy at times and less busy at other times. I have been busy lately and when that happens I usually check games/forums quickly but am a little more slow to update.

Anyway, I started to compile and have decided I am going to ask for votes again. Many of the votes I got were not complete in the manner I need them and on top of that I only received 14 votes which is less than I received the last time around.

A lot of clans are now signing up for Conqueror's Cup 2 that were not in the first one and I think they will now have an interest in completing these votes which they did not have the interest before. So I will try to get more votes.

For the votes that I got, I will quote those PMs back to their senders so they can update them and send them again and it will be minimal work for them. I will ask the ones that didn't complete their votes to fix them so that all votes are uniform and easy to put together for the data needed.

I promise to have these compiled as soon as I get more votes flowing in. I am going to put a deadline of 1 week from today on receiving votes and I will probably hound the leaders every day for the votes.

I posted this in Power Rankings, I will be trying to get more votes for the power rankings because I did not receive near as many as I would like. Everyone listed as a leader in their group should expect a PM soon.
