I based mine off the strength of 1 v 1 players. Empire, ID, G1, Legion, and Nemesis all have very good ones and they were my top 5.

Its definitely interesting to see the rankings. Some based on a perceived 1v1 strength, others on clan strength. The lesser known clans tended to finish towards the bottom but that doesn't mean they can't impress and win a round or two.

All clans should have their instructions at this point. I see 3 of the 4 war threads are up right now. I'll PM the 4th today to see their status.

Since this is more of an NHL-style system (as opposed to a normal bracket) it's harder to show how it will progress since it re-seeds after the first round. But here's my unofficial response. Leave it to Bart to correct any mistakes.

So to take it one step further, chalk would be:

Round 2
ID v G1
Legion v Nemesis
Myth v FOED
AOD v Empire

That is an insanely good matchup across the board, actually. I can't pick a winner easily in any of those. And I don't know that chalk is safe in round 1, since DB just narrowly beat AOD in a challenge.

It really is tough to tell, especially as 1v1 plays very different than team games. Would not be shocked at all to see some big upsets here early.

Though I understand the purpose, you didn't "fix" it, as you would be playing EMPIRE, not G1.

Curious, why is Clandemonium and King's Court listed under the unlimited forts rule, but barred from use in the "no beta maps"?

long tournament, kings court should be released from beta pretty soon, and clandemonium might make it for the later rounds too. just my guess though :geek:

Right. They're not currently available but won't always be in Beta.

Due to the format of this tournament (each clan sends their complete set of home games 2 weeks apart), I'm just curious as to what happens if a beta map comes out of beta in the middle of a challenge. Would the second clan be able to use it?

Just want to get the question out there before it happens and there's an argument

Couldn't the first team just make sure that the player who was wanting to play the new map takes that game as an away game?
