Wow, I haven't seen anything that covers a perfect draw like that. How about a best of three head to head with the clan leaders

Somebody obviously wont like the League Directors' ruling on this one, but here goes:

With LHDD and LEG totally tied on points, games won and result between the two clans, the higher-ranked clan will advance.

In this case, that will be LEG.

It doesn't have to be somebody. It is pretty unfair to LHDD as the underdogs. Is there no way for them to go in the same division when they come out of this so close? (Div 3 as one of the highest ranked 4th team or something?)
I'm sure you guys did your best in trying to work on the best way to resolve the perfect tie, but I can't help but feel disappointed for LHDD to do so well as completely unranked but still miss out to a judgement call in the end

Yeah, LEG already had advantage by having better seed place than LHDD, so LHDD had to fight vs better ranked clans than LEG had to. and result is equal, pretty unfair to LHDD.

Even Doodle earth unlimited quads game (in order to finish it on time) would be better decision than this. and it would for sure finish sooner than 7 ongoing games so it would not stall the whole event.

The League doesn't wait for Doodles, otherwise that would have been a good idea.

To finish on time would have been to finish about 12 hours ago.

ya we really not all that happy at all there was a dozen different way we could have decided this but it always came down to 1 clan going thru and 1 clan going down. we actually talked about this prior to start of league and both of us said there would never be a perfect tie well we were wrong. i really do feel for lhdd but when it all come down to it i think we made the right decision.

lets be honest if we went other way there would be people coming out and saying the exact same as you and that other guy said in support for legion.

Surely it's fairer to bring it down to a 1 off match that can be played fairly quickly ?

one game play off did come up but that really was not a option that would and could add any were from 2 to 4 or 5 weeks pending on setting and teams.

next year we will put in some thing to prevent this

Very very very unfair. Even a Doodle Earth singles match between the two primary contacts would be better, hey even make it a speed game, but to decide based on rank is just WRONG.

A game of any form is better than just letting the top clan through on the basis of their rank alone. Its a slap in the face for the lower ranked clan to be told "sorry boys and girls but they are better than you, well, yes we know they didnt beat you but they are better than you".

Absolutely. Would either clan really argue with a speed dubs if it had to come down to something.

That would make this even worse.

And while I understand that you'll include mechanisms into the next league to improve it, tbh Each season has been vastly different from the one preceding it, so I doubt it would be as useful

This is wrong. Everyone is moving onto Phase Two.

The four groups are for the Divisional Cup, which is a separate tournament.

Well then, is LHDD being placed in a lower cup because of this?
