because i notice that one player have 11-1, so this mean that best win % dont mean that will be MVP, very strange .

So what if 1 player goes 5-0 and another goes 13-3? Who do you think is more valuable, win percentage doesn't mean that much if the sample size is small.

I'm not sure what player you are referring to so I'm not going to criticize that player, but I am willing to bet that they may bring playing with very select settings i.e. only home maps or something along those lines to be 11-1. But that player would is only in 12 of the clans 84 games and only playing 1-2 a week, accounting for roughly 15% of that clans games. For me personally, I find it hard to pick an MVP who played in so few games, even though they played very well when they did.

i vote for hambone. we didn't let that asshole play in any of our clan's games and we made it to phase 3.

I only put a question for MVP parameters, and its look that only CD director feels what player will be MVP,withouth any parameters. Usualy statistic are parameters to determine MVP.
Its this not aloved to ask anything ?

Unfortunatly cheme,im all ready put you on foe,so i can not put you twice.
Unbelivabile how in this entire CL,some CD are very hostile, and in any normal question answer very hostile.

I
am putting forth chard for MVP of Divison 2

Plyr Games W - L
Chard (24) 16 - 7 (66.66%)

1 still going

Le rodent(28) w-18 L-10(64,28)

geko(12) w-11 l-1(91.66%)

Thanks for the link leehar, its very helpful.

I'm sorry qwert, but cheme's answer was not hostile. A smartass response that was a tad bit uncalled for? Yes, but not hostile.

However you do bring up an interesting point. I personally believe that Le Rodent would present a better case for MVP than geko, despite geko playing very well in his 12 games.

Le Rodent is 18-10 in his 28 games while chard is 16-7 (most likely 17-7 if we win the cricket game that we have the lead in) in his 24 games, so both are very deserving of the MVP. Of course it is fairly obvious which one I would lean towards. ;)

Hopefully the TOs will consider this opinion in their analysis. It is well reasoned and coherent. We shall how the TOs go, especially considering that this thing may go down to a tiebreaker. The MVP could very well come out of that set of games.

This is all nice, but OSA used a 35 man roster while others hardly made it a 20-25.

This also has to be taken in account.

But yes Le Rodent seems to most deserving MVP, chard has worse stats and LOW didn't qualify,
so his contribution is smaller in every way.

I'm sure this will be taken into account. A very good observation. So far, the MVP choice for Division 4 was, in my opinion, perfect and extremely well reasoned. So I think everyone will get a fair shake. Plus, they are only medals. And no one cares about medals right? ;)

But it's also about recognition, I do want geko to be the winner, but from Rodents performance
it's clear that with his 18 wins he contributed the most.

Believe me, I wish I could have had the luxury of using a 35 man roster. Unfortunately we only had 15ish active players for most of the league with 5 being freemium or only limited participation. Saying he had worse stats at 17-7 vs 18-10 is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. And before we get too testy about qualifications, lets not forget that we were only 1 game away from being in 2nd place, beating and/or tying all the clans that finished ahead of us. But all in all, we can argue all day about these semantics, so we'll see what the TO's decide.

same with MYT, we use 30-31 player, so its hard that some player can play-18-20 games in one phase.

to interject, i think it would be a travesty if le rodent were to win mvp. primarily because i have little respect for his skills. it is obvious that this site is rigged if that guy is winning greater than 40% of his games.

in this phase, with the end goal being elimination of our clan, we were playing our junior varsity squad. as you all know it takes a lot of effort and time to choose the maps and line-ups each week; not to mention the time it takes away from our families and significant others whilst taking cc turns. unfortunately, for some reason and i am dumbfounded as to how, the confederacy of dunces representing our clan were able to do just enough to make it to the next phase.

in conclusion, vote for pedro.

Is there not going to be a tiebreaker for first place? Or do ID & TFFS both get medals?

Due to the overwhelming magnitude of this tie...both with same points, same W/L record, and a tie between them...the TOs and CDs have determined that both clans will receive medals for this phase. Unbelievable result really. Well done to both.
