Updated to this point. My current thoughts on timing:
Sign Ups End: July 29
PM to Leaders for Seeding votes: July 29-August 5th
Score Tabulated/ Bracket created: Aug 6-10th
Prediction Entries Accepted: Aug 10-31st
Clan Planning time given: Aug 10-31st (3 Weeks should be plenty of time to plan vs first opponent)
Start Date: Sept 1
First Games Sent: Mon Sept 3rd
Since Sept 1 seems to be the most popular option I gave 3 weeks planning time. Plenty of notice to all involved and planning for admin and thread creation etc.

With the current 12-18 slot, do you think you could work out a provisional timetable similar to what they have for CC3, because I'm concerned whether this could result in finals being held around Christmas?

From barterer2002 posting to completion it was 4.5 months.
He didn't have such a long lead time for sign ups or planning. But 4 months for 12 clans is a good guesstimate.
Sept Oct Nov w a Dec completion date would be my current guess. (without going thru all the calendar and steps) more clans wouldn't necessarily add much time as there would just be a larger play in...depends on our sign ups and everything.
If when I sit down to figure it out it goes thru christmas holidays we will plan a break accordingly.
This is a very rough estimate here just based on posts from last years thread.

Currently sounds like both FOED and WAR might not participate.
Nearly every clan was sent a message pointing them to this thread to see if they were interested, including all from last years event.
I haven't received much interest from others. So currently looks like a 12 clan event again. While there's still plenty of time to sign up (and no need to rush since not many want to start ASAP anyway) I just dont hvae any other verbalizing any interest.
That's the update for this weekend.

Lol, yes to Round 1, but you did pass through the Play-in
Tight match in Round 1 tho! I think there was only 1 game in it in the end!

I think everyone can agree this would be best if we had 16 clans instead of 15.
I have sent out a mass MSG to clan leaders. I'd love a little help "nudging" another clan to consider this. If any of you leaders want to talk to ur friends and mates in another clan to join in some fun competition I'd appreciate it
