as long as you respect suarez as a world class player, you'll be okay.

It's really easy to do, though!!! The quality of play is so much higher!!

But seriously- Spain is the only league that matters so watch that and you will be fine, occasionally some other league puts up a winner you stupid, flash in a pan Chelsea!!!!! but normally Spain's second string beats them

England have the better league, just look at the depth of it. Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham & Liverpool. Compared to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletico Madrid. England also has players from all around the globe, not just domestic players.

I've got four kids, I have no time for tv! Besides, it's a truism that from a fan's (and child's) perspective, it's much more fun cheering on a local team whose games you can attend, whatever the level.

that's true as well. Unfortunately we have no leagues of quality in the us especially where I live, there are no local professional teams around south carolina. The nearest ones are in Chicago, DC and Philadelphia. So I look to the leagues with quality and watch those matches. I find the pace and skill in these matches to be like on a different planet over what is in the states. Another thing is the passion of the fans in Europe, particularly in Spain, England and Italy. The atmospheres at legendary stadiums such as Anfield (best fans in the world), San Siro, Camp Nou, Old Trafford, and others are absolutely fantastic. Especially on derby days.

It was necessary for me to drop from this and hand over to kizkiz as the FISO organizer.

AdamKeith is effectively running the thread in the 2nd post, games and scores. I've updated the thread title to show the latest score and will update when prodded. I will make an attempt to get the first post completely up to date over the next few days.

Expecting a clip of Millwall fans, passionate about the club, maybe not so much about the footie though :-)

ISTANBUL 2005.

One of the greatest moments in the history of football. One of the greatest comebacks in the history of sports. It showed heart from all the reds players, fighting to their very last breath, showing all of their passion for the club. Then the supporters, thousands of miles away from home (yeah, I know Millwall never gets that opportunity :D. All they do is cause a bunch of riots) singing YNWA at the top of their lungs. And you are trying to tell me that's not real passion?

I was tempted to start on about the high quality of croatian football, and how many successes they have had over the years; but I decided against it.
