Just over 12 hours to put together. Now I know why the NHL has to use a computer program. Although, I don't have to worry about other events like the Circus at MSG . I'm going to check the schedule one last time before the season starts just to make sure.

The clan league should really be a mix of singles, doubles, trips, and quads. Having it all doubles is just silly.

It's easy to complain once everything has started and no issues were brought up before hand... isn't it?

Relax. Have fun with it. Maybe you can work on changing it up for the next season.

The decision to go all doubles was based on a number of factors including (but not limited to):

1. The size of clans. Some of the smaller elite clans will be extended as it is with doubles, throwing other game types in on top of that means more game spots would have to be filled. Adding more game types can be achieved by having less total games overall which is possible if we move to promotion/demotion style next season. We could also achieve all game types if we made 2 leagues of small and large clans, but then you wouldn't get to face some of the elite clans which is not ideal.

2. A clan league has not yet been completed in the history of CC. See Teams Double League. Realistically this will be the first completed league for clans and it will take quite a bit of effort on everyone's part to make this successful. The league will have 1350 games over 6 months so this no small feat in itself.

Please pm me if you have ideas or suggestions going forward. The ideas can also be discussed within your clan and brought by one of your 2 leaders to the CLA forum as well.

This was all discussed in the CLA before it got started, and everyone agreed that to start it out we had to go with the doubles league. Like Jp said, we have to actually complete a full season and see how it goes before we should even think about discussing any changes in the format.

JP,

is there any way you could hold back on updating the Standings until the end of the played week? I think it would be less work for you, and it would be nice to see the results after each weeks games are wrapped up for everyone...it gives the players a clearer vision of where they stand from week to week....some teams finish their games quick while others are slower, and it would be nice to see updates uniformly.

just my opinion....comments?

btw, great work on the league...it has made CC that much better!

btw, great work on the league...it has made CC that much better!

I always though JP was just doing an update about 1 time a week. Whatever games had ended he would count up, and those not ended would be counted next time he checked. Seems logical.

Some games take a while to complete. Almost all games in Week 1 are done except for one that will likely take another week or so to complete. Several other series are already finished in Week 2. Unless we fix settings to Esc, which we all agree not to, there's no way to tell when they'll finish. Right now if I did post end of Week 1, I'm not sure how relevant it would be as some teams are already on week 4.
