We do have an art gallery (though I use that term in the loosest sense) displaying pictures of freakns in various poses that he's been sending us over the years.

So long as they're... um... artistic poses and nothing sexual or provocative, it's all good.

No need, Shannon. As long as you're a female, you have to fight freakns off with a stick. Pictures are free and plentiful! Or so I've heard. ;)

This is soooo true (allegedly, as not being a female myself I've yet to wield my stick).

If they let Fishy and I into TOFU forums, are you going too, Foxy?

I'm sorry, it's 'Fishy and me'. You are banned from our forum henceforth.

Haha, let's just say that my presence would be unwelcome.

I thought you were hospitable nowadays, CoF? :P

It was really because I invited Foxy along, wasn't it.
He's not able for too many women at once.

Is any man? I prefer to dote on one - and if she can bear me she's Mother Teresa (though hopefully not a lookalike)

I meant in the same room as you, silly boy! :D

That's why you limit the number of ladies in TOFU.

Diagnosis: We terrify you.

Au contraire ma cherie. I've always preferred the company of women (growing up with four sisters does that to a man). Fast cars, sexual conquests and physical sports bore me in conversation (here I want to say "because I've done them all"). Women are the bee's knees, love 'em! If it wasn't for my little venture into Empire where I met Cat & Denise I'd have left this testosterone-fuelled site a while ago.

Now I get it. He's terrified that the women of Kort will steal away the women of Tofu if he lets us in.

We're the Hotel California baby. You can check in any time you like, but you can never leave.

Chris, could you give me some ideas for midday activities in the Ankeny area? I have my early afternoons free majority of the time and no idea about the area.

haha....that is pretty funny! nothing going around here!

farmers are getting ready to harvest corn...might be fun to watch the combines mow it down?

we have a zoo and science center in Des Moines.

Bass Pro Shop out in Altoona.

Nice mall in WDM...good for people watching

Ankeny is a bedroom community, not much going on here. they have some nice frisbee golf courses here and some nice parks in general..that is about all i can think of. We have Saylorville Lake on the west side of town, some nice walking trails. if you are into cycling, lots of trails that are all connected in the area (you could ride for hours and days and not get bored).

How much time do you have and what are your interests? I can give you an address to my job site and you can go "run a shovel" with my crew building ponds in your spare time.

You can't help but love the mid west!

Plenty to see but not much do... That's because everyone there is working and taking care of business BTW! My better half is an Iowa native and my life changed forever when I met her!

Well i have 7 hours on Mondays starting at noon, all day until 6:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday is 2:30pm to 7pm, Thursdays I stay home (2 hour drive), Friday I only have class from 9-10am. I need to just move there and quit wasting money on travel!

Yes, probably should have chose a school closer to home. Needed to get away though, and it's a good opportunity to learn a new area.

Or you could take a short ride to Johnston and visit the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy; recruits should be finishing up for graduation soon; may see some pursuit driving on the base - fun to do and watch. Plus Saylorville Lake is right there :D
