My problem is joining games made by the other clan. If I type my name in to send myself an invite, its come up in red that "you cannot invite yourself". As a result I need to get the password from the other side. I am currently working with TheCrown on the SOH-TNC war and known that TheCrown can invite himself to the games I create.
I go into game finder, use the drop down to get to the war and search. Then get into the games that way, its where I invite my clan and join the games I create.
My question is am I doing something wrong or just missing something??

cookie - you aren't missing anything. you can't invite yourself to a game. i always request the password from the other clan. if they refuse, for whatever reason, let a CD know. cheers.

For once I wasn't being sarcastic. It's a trick that actually works.
Now I'm back to being an asshole.

MichelSableheart wrote:It seems to me that if you incorrectly capitalize your name, the check to see if you're inviting yourself doesn't recognize you, but when looking in the database, the correct capitalization is found.
So basically, it's a bug that doubles as a feature.
