I don't think we'd have problems with limiting trench - maybe no quads trench, 1 trips trench, 2 dubs trench and 2 singles trench as a limit per set (smaller sided games go quicker so trench slowing things down isn't so much a factor)?

6 dubs (1 trench max = 30 rd limit if trench)
6 triples (1 trench max = 30 rd limit if trench)

12 fog rule = We'll do our best, if broken, will announce what we did (never intentionally break, but i suck at this)
12 game limit (singles series counts as 1)
Tie breaker on random map, fog, no trench, escalating, chained, quads. Tie breaker match will only be played once all other games are finished and only if necessary (adds a bit more suspense if the rest of the war is tied) i like this
First set one clan does dubs and trips, other does singles and quads, then vice versa for the second set.
I dont want to require "Each set must contain at least one of each spoils types and at least one of each reinforcement type."
