Anime Discussion Group [1 more to become official!]

Of the 'Adult Swim' animes, Big O and Cowboy Bebop are good, as well as Trigun and Inuyasha however the Cartoon Network has been running all those into the ground for awhile now. I pretty much gave up on those as I've seen like every single one.

Yeah, and they only show DBZ once a week now.

That was the show that got me hooked on anime.

I never liked Inuyasha, but then again I've only been subjected to Adult Swim's English bastardization of it, so that is probably why.

Cowboy Bebop is the only anime I've found where I prefer the English voices/version. I almost prefer the english version of Witch Hunter Robin, but not quite.

But on the topic of DBZ, that show is so terrible. Although Dragon Ball was my first show, so I don't have a lot of room to talk there. :roll:

Inuyasha is awesome. ^_^ but I've seen every single one basicilly too, and kinda don't want to watch reruns Atm, I will probably sometime soon.

I haven't watched many others, just look at my list, and when the group comes always feel free to give me suggestions. ^_^

Seshomaru was going to be my CC name, but I went with this as it's easier to spell.

I used to like DBZ, but I'm not sure what happened, my tastes changed or something and I can't get into it anymore.

Oh and I forgot about Witch Hunter Robin, that was an awesome AS anime.

This thread has made me dig out vhs tapes I haven't watched in years, thanks for that guys. I forgot how good some of this stuff really is.

Does Lupin III count as Anime?

What was that show "Samurai ?" where the samurai guy was sent 200 years in the future and needed to defeat the guy who put him there so he could go back in time and right things?

Also, I assume you know that the Sci-Fi channel (in the US) has "Ani-Mondays" (I have no idea what shows they air).

I just thought I'd post this. Not really all that into anime.

The only other anime I thought was cool was a movie: "Vampire Hunter D"

Well, there was that time I had a girlfriend who was into Sailor Moon ...

Samurai Jack I believe is the show that your looking for. An excellent show, but I don't think would be considered anime as it's American with a Japaneses production crew (judging by the names in the credits, my girlfriend loves it) I think.

Vampire Hunter D was also an excellent anime, and one I completely forgot about and haven't seen in ages.
