Because it is a website that was not built by lackattack, and is not an "official" part of Conquer Club.
Was this the third part of the "big updates" or was this something on the side?
Something entirely on the side.

I waited 23 hours and 59 seconds before I answered my question and was able to double up on my response allowing me to get double points !sully800 wrote:Optimus Prime wrote:sully800 wrote:Well there is only 100 some questions. So for the people answering 600 and 800 and whatever, they already know all the answers. Seems like a waste of time to me if you can just repeatedly answer questions you've already gotten
The system isn't stocked fully yet. There are easily hundreds if not thousands of questions available, they just need to be added to the system.
Right, there are virtually unlimited questions that can be added to a trivia site. However, I don't think it makes sense to award points for answering repeat questions, or for including those questions in the % you have gotten right. Set it up so that you only have one shot at each question (and once answered it won't ever pop up again). That way it would be a test of knowledge/dedication to research, and not a competition for who can repeatedly answer questions they have already answered. Just a suggestion!

Why does it matter? It's pointless trivia.

it matters when you been doing it about 20 hours

Optimus Prime wrote:In response to sully800's concerns about repeat questions, I already have a fix in the works. The idea is to make it so the system determines which questions you have answered in say the past... 7 days. If you have answered a question in the past 7 days it will not be allowed into the pool of possible questions for that session. If you then answer every single question available, a message will appear notifying you that you have answered all available questions and will need to return later to play again.
The idea of never allowing you to answer the same question twice has merit, but it also prevents the site from being something that can be enjoyed over and over. I think if we put a delay on the questions, making it much harder to remember the answers that you will have a much harder time remembering. That coupled with the eventual inclusion of thousands of potential questions will make it even out in the end.
Also, perhaps a scoring adjustment is needed to penalize more harshly for wrongly answered questions? Right now you lose 2 points for a wrong answer, but gain 3 for a correct, maybe switch that to reverse it? Or perhaps a different scoring solution?
I'm open to suggestions, as I mentioned in the first post.
