As an ex role-player, top trumps and magic had to go with 2. Also went 5, bit strange looking, but think thats why it stood out.

Whats the territ count on the maps ? - somehow smaller than i was expecting.

We may get more than one in the end. :D

1 and 2 seem to of hit the max limit of 65 regions. 3 and 4 seem smaller maps and 5 may of gone over but we will not know till completed graphics are produced.

Nobody said number one was mine or even if I am in the contest. Why do you think number 1 is mine?

Because of the borders..they are tottally your face...or maybe someone is copycatying your style :D
Anyway..i like the map, just not the borders

Nope, one is not my creation and I have never done borders that way before.

I am fairly sure I know who 1-4 is... but 5 is the wild card!

Disagree. It may be closer to the final product; but it's pretty simple graphics. #2 is much more sophisticated.

Okay. I figured it out. Map #1 is simple and straight forward. Maps #2 through #5 are complex. A certain segment of users want simple. I think there should be a run-off between the top two maps. I bet that #1 would lose.

I went with 3, but 1 would be my next vote. 5 looks pretty awesome, but I've never been much of a complex map person, which is why I think 4 and 5 won't win. I can't even begin to fathom how 4 would be played.

One question: even if the other 4 maps don't win for the competition, will they make it to the list of playable maps? I mean, I would especially want to play on the second and the fourth one, so... yes, just wanted to know.

Grats Manbungalow! =D>
As you can all see, map 5 unfortunately ended up being a very rough draft... It sure would have helped to present something finished LOL.
Anyway, I'll get a better draft done and stick it in the forge. ;)

Sweet.

I'll post a thread later on today and sort some things out with koontz.

I already have some ideas for improvement, but more on that later..

It appears on our Japanese Server - Entry One lost this contest....

Where Entry 2 won with Entry 3 as a close second...

i think dukasaur's comment wasn't aimed at you, but rather more at the foundry, to point out the deplorable state it is in.
