Well i have sugestion, that every week you have one Battle royal Game,in one map.
These mean that every week one map will be chose for battle royal game, and next week diferent map will be take. Also i think that for these setting can be sequenched instead freestyle.
What you think of that.
I think that these can be interesting to implement.

As long as at least one is hosted on "The Hive", I wouldn't mind.

Currently BR's only work with certain maps (those without ANY specified starting positions, and those that don't include one-way attacks or bombards). Also, a sequential BR would last far longer than a freestyle one, even on Doodle Earth (The smallest map, and therefore the least number of players) the game would easily take more than a week to complete. And the standard (Not Speed) BR from the 2nd anniversary special is still going, over three years later. The code to make this suggestion work, is a long way away, and there are things far higher on the priority list than making BR's casual.

we cant it might break the server.

i also dont like this idea. for a couple of reasons
1. it wouldnt be as fun as it would one time a year it would spoil the suprise.
2.who ever joins first will get eliminated immediate so there would be no point at least speed games you have a general idea when the game starts.

i dislike the idea, battle royales are a nice special event. and if you'd held them weekly you might also get people specializing in that gametype, possibly getting a very high rank because they can win a few BR's.

it is a birthday event now, and imo should be kept that way.

one game per week- i dont sugest more game per week. Now Battle royal all limited to birthday, and also limited on maps. I realy want to see more maps in battle royal, not same maps every year, and these is not something great to see doodle eart, every year, again and again. Also if someone want to be every week standing and waiting to see when will these one game per week, put active, then we can do nothing against that. For example, i dont play battle royal, because i dont sit and waith all days to see when will some battle royal become active for join, but i see that many people want to play more battle royal game, not only to waith one year for 48 games, and again they can miss and to not play, and again they want to waith another years to try to be there when lack announce battle royal games.
If you have one battle royal game per week, in diferent map, each week,i dont see how can someone specialised for these way of play. If you play freestyle, even cook can win a game, because you can not predict who play what, and if you not in right time to play, you can lost a game, and to never play a turn.
Far before i sugest that map makers get invitation to play one battle royal together, to give some rememberance to map maker, but these its like speak with person who dont want to listen, and these been ignored, nobody want to reply on that, but again these is got nothing with these sugestion.

Battle Royales may have more of a future in 2011---outside of our usual use. :)

In another game I play they allow customizable games for $5 fee.

Maybe BR's could be an added option for $2.50 +/- on host choice of map & settings?

I say $2.5 instead of $5 cuz the other game u don't have the possibility of being eliminated the first turn ;) lol so I'd hate to spend $5 for some guy to have hot dice and axe me off the bat.

And would bring a added source of revenue, or in order to avoid micro transactions maybe do $7.5 for 2 or 3 BR's?

well,im realy dont understand people, when in CC celbrating birthday, lack create batle royal games, then people demand more and more games, and when they finish, people not satisfy with end of battle royal 3-4 days. Here people dont want battle royal games.

I'd say leave it to the Anniversary's. Takes away the bang of the anniversary.

good, you merged with old thread, and all ready votes move to yes.
People want to play more Battle royal games, and if you give one game per week, you will not ruin anniversaries game in any way,you only can get more supporters for that,
I can not remember if im play any of battle royal, because these limitation dont alove me to play any of battle royal, actualy these anniversaries game its in time ,where people are bussy with other things, and some players, get access in to much battle royals, because other are not here,in these limit period where these presented.

The main point that BR's are an official thing, everyone enjoys them, because they are not overused, and are exciting when you are able to play in them. If BR's were made a weekly thing, people would play in more of them, and they wouldn't be special for the celebrations. Then TeamCC would have to come up with a new idea for celebrations, the community would want that to become more common, and thus the cycle would repeat.

A 52% to 48% lead with only 42 votes isn't exactly overwhelming.

And I really don't follow that logic. It's like celebrating New Year every week for the year. How would it make the actual New Year better? "Happy 1/52 of the New Year! [Insert fireworks here]" Just because there are more of them, doesn't mean there will be more supporters for when it comes around on the Anniversary.

I rather think that increasing the frequency of BRs would be pretty pointless without some work being put into the games themselves. Once team games are possible, the starting neutral bug fixed, some kind of moves-per-second limiter added (so it's not such a point giveaway to freestyle experts) and maybe a modifier to the point exchange put into place (so BRs don't get totally bogged down late in the game due to thousands of points being on the line), then you might have something.
