But you then run the risk of mistakes happening. Say you wanted to give 6 months to me but you accentually gave it to chapcrap , I end up with no premium, you end up with having to send an e ticket and the admins need to sort the problem out. And before you say that would never happen, it will, more mistakes happen like this. Admins have enough to do without having to try and sort little things like this out. And what to say to chapcrap when his disappears after joining a 100 games. So many ways to abuse this, it will never happen.
On another note, why not spend the 50$ for two premiums? What is so expensive about that. Christmas is coming, put it on your Santa list.

at the end of the 3 months, join a ton of games. stay freemium for 3 months.
buy another 3 months, at the end of that 3 mths join a ton of games again.
at the 12 month anniversay CC has made $20 yet yearly membership is $25 and $30 under your pricing.
in short, CC loses.

That may be true, but with a price increase, the game loading wouldn't really save anyone much money. I would not offer anything below 3 months. I may try something like:
- 3 months for $10
- 6 months for $18
- 12 months for $30
- 24 months for $50
- 5 years for $100
A little price increase for the normal year, but I think that's reasonable after more than 6 years. Not only that, the smaller chunks should bring more money.

Then when you gift someone a premium, and re-up yourself, you feel you are getting a good deal because of all the extras and perks, and less because you got a price-break sort of good deal.

This site has SO much potential for the owner if they would only do this. Hell another risk site was made simply because serious players felt the people in charge here weren't paying attention, were ignoring them. Go just a little way into getting stuck into the suggestions forum and listening to the foundry folk, and it will pay tenfold. (yes, pay as in dollars in the owners bank account.)
