I have Map Rank GL 1.5.5 running on Firefox 16.0.1 in OSX 10.8.2

I can't map rank anyone. Everyone comes up with 0 wins no matter how many games they've played on a given map. And it just sits on "gathering games" if I try to map rank myself for all maps (and I only have 400 games played).

Are there any other map ranking addons out there?

I dont know what to tell you... You are using a very similar setup to mine

I am running Map Rank 1.5.5 on FIrefox 16.0.2 on Windows XP, and I can Map Rank myself right now. I have also Map Ranked others recently, I believe. Firefox has an update for me when I restart, so I will let you all know how that goes. Perhaps this is an OSX problem?

I re-installed FF 16.0.2 and Map Rank worked again. Nevertheless yesterday Firefox automatically updated again to 17.0.1 and MapRank was gone again.

Go to Tools -> Options -> upgrade and switch off auto-upgrade

Okay, I have seen the problem at FF 17.0.1, and it has to do with the magic code which confirms that the Map Rank you are running is up to date. I am trying to find out why the syntax used is no longer legal, and come up with a substitute.

Browser: Firefox 17.0.1
Scripts/third party programs used: Greasemonkey

If the bug happened in a game/s, do not forget to indicate the game number/s.

Installed updates for Firefox, BOB still works, Map Rank doesn't. My laptop still has Firefox 15.0.1 and Map Rank works.

Why is that?

You are right, MR does not work with FF 17. Works with FF 15 and 16, but not 17. This bug reports forum should be for CC related bugs only. MR is a tool/enhancement.

fwiw, I went back to FF16 (over firefox's strong objection) and it's working fine for me.

For those of you who want to do the same, disable automatic updating of firefox and go here:

Thanks to everyone who has helped to answer these questions.I as well lost MR when firefox updated. The games would not be nearly as much fun for me without Map rank

I was just checking out this thread to try and fix my MR, thanks for the FF tip.

But, I was wondering about rode orm's problem. Has anyone figured this out yet? It an interesting puzzle to me.
I tried to MR him using his CC member # (541287), that didn't work either.
That sucks, man.
