well many thing its based on luck-if you play escalating-some players had luck to cash in 3 cards,and some player need to get all 5 to have cash. I dont see any problem with that.
In flat rate,some player get luck to cash two three time in row three diferent colour,and some player get all red cards,again these is luck, because you dont have influence on cards.
But here you can have influence on bonus cards,because you have advantage to change card value,and actively increase your bonus value. This setup are half luck -based,because if you not reinforce,take or deploy on territory who you have same card name,then these can be big mistake,not luck based.

IMO, if it's going to be an option, and has at least 50% support of the community, and there isn't any debate / changes still going on. It's good enough to be submitted. Either way, nothing could hurt to get some more opinions.

I didnt read the middle three pages of this thread so sorry if this has already been said but what if the spoils that each player held were visible to everyone, thus helping alleviate the luck factor to an extent (obviously there will be times when the game swings massively based on the territory name of a card but some people may like that). Personally I probably wouldnt play many games of this type as I'm a bit of a traditionalist but I think the ideas got merit for progressing the CC community in general

i must say that you dont have option for any kind of cards to be visible for everyone.

with these settings wayyy too much depends on what spoils you get(luck), how many troops you can fort there(in unlimited how many countries are connected, and in other settings how many turns you had before you had to cash in), etc.

instead of concerning yourself with your opponent the only thing you'll be worrying about in this game is how to position your own troops.

your argument that other options and settings also depend on luck does not work. even though you depend on luck, even in nuke spoils you can build strategies around which cards you get, when you can cash in, etc. yet with this gametype, the ONLY strategy will be to pour all of your troops on the one or two cards you happen to own(or conquer one of the cards and pour all your troops in there.)
when a new option only adds random luck into the game, and makes it completely monotone - leaving basically only one strategy to win, then its a bad suggestion. sorry.

i dont understand why some people think that more diferent unique card option ,need to be bad, and what its best here,its that nobody force you to use these set for play. Its same like maps, people avoide to play maps who dont like.
Personaly i dont like to play in No spols games, but i play in other options-escalating,flat rate.
Everybody have some favorite settings.
Now i give strategy ,what probably can hepend, and one day,if these be implemented,then we can give much full answer on strategy in these settings card

Consider that this sugestion are 3 days older then mine DOUBLE TROUBLE SPOILS,, this mean that mine sugestion are next for implementation?
