great idea......how should cheaters be handled? Meaning, should their high score and rank be deleted once busted? How about players that were warned?

If a player has their score reset then I guess they would lose their highest rank indicator as well...

Highest score attained

Just my 2-cents.. (not sure if it has been brought up before, but a quick search did not yield much. tho i admit i only scanned thru my searches)

Thought it would be a useful information to include under user statistics, the highest score attained for the player.

For me, it is just for record so that i know how well i had achieved over the time i've played here. It could also give me an indication of how good a player is.

Thanks. :)

1.Install Greasemonkey.
2.Install the add-ons ConquerStats Score Charts and Map Rank.
3.Check your Map Rank and look at your missing logs. Total the points gained/lost from games in your missing logs.
4.Go to your profile and let ConquerStats load. It will display the highest score you've achieved in the top of the y-axis (of the graph). However, this score excludes the points gained/lost from missing logs.
5.Do the math.

Hm, interesting, It would be more accurate, as people won't always know their highest spot on the scoreboard since it is changing,

Wait...so, each players score on the scoreboard would be their highest plus their lowest? Hmmm..
That would technically be more accurate I suppose, but at the same time, you get points by winning games, and that raises your place on the scoreboard. Conversely, losing brings you down. If I'm understanding it right, I don't think I'd be in favor. Not for any particular reason, merely just an 'It it isn't broken, don't fix it' opinion.

I think you misread what he meant. From what i can tell, qwert wants, on your profile, you're highest known score/rank/placing to be shown, and your lowest score/rank/placing.

Oh, I was thinking that our position on the scoreboard would be an average of the two. Neverminddd :-^

highest score is relevant if you know what the highest at that time was ....
and how many were in front of you
and how many were behind you
and how close you were to those in front of you
and how close those behind you were to you

the highest score is pointless unless the scoreboard at that time is accessable

This is a good idea, especially the lowest score - I'm sick of being misled by a user's score, rank, and games won: those three factors fluctuate incredibly, and does no justice to reflect their actual game play. A mini-record tool such as this would be quite useful to dispose of that issue.

It certainly looks good. As I stated, I believe it's information as relevant as the current listed stats.

I do suppose you Could argue that the lowest rank feature won't be too surprising... the "highest" low score possible would be your default 1000 points.

Well the lowest score is irrelevant because it says nothing about your play at the moment. People, live and learn and while your high score shows that you "may"have potential, a low score from say 2 years ago, says wel... absolutely nothing.

Also its negative statistic that will not improve the site in any way but just lead to more bickering. It is something that you cannot improve in any way no matter how you try after initial struggles, becoming a an obsolete statistic that will encourage multiple accounting for true point whores.

A highscore on the wall though, is a neat idea, only think it will be hard to implement...

There's also situations where one's highest score and highest place on the scoreboard might not have come at the same time...

highest score
highest place
lowest score
lowest place

a suggestion would be to remove the other two, or to hide them. I know some people may oppose this suggestion because they don't like how low they've gone on the scoreboard, or something like that.
