Assume a player misses turns and is kicked out of the game for that reason.

Assume the player has 5 spoils.

If I eliminate that player, do I get his/her spoils?

When the player is kicked out, his/her troops become a neutral faction. No spoils for you if you "eliminate" the player that was kicked out.

Only when the game is Terminator that players troops stay on the board. When taking their last troops you get their spoils.

When the game is Standard or Assassin the troops turn neutral and the spoils are out of play.
