If that was a freestyle game, you probably lost your last territory before you tried to deploy. Even if you had that choice in the menu, by the time you hit the button, it was already over.

I don't know what is wrong with everyone else. I've been suing the site while on vacation in the countryside of france, and have shitty internet, and haven't had any lag. Got back to the states, and still no lag.

Slight lag, but on map 11616379 I'm loosing troops to no attacker. I've lost roughly 22-24 troops. The first time I lost 7 or 9 troops I believe and lost a territory to the computer (white). This happened again when I lost the roman boat to the computer. I also lost 15 troops tonight at one location ...also to the computer... wtf? Someone please explain this...

I'm sorry if I'm being dense but how do I "already" loose troops. I was simply waiting for other players to play. My turn was over. I checked two hours ago and the troops were there. I just checked now and their gone. With no attacks from opponents.

My issue was solved by information provided by a member in the game. I'm playing a Nuclear setting and I was unaware of this process. Relatively new so my apologies for my conspiracy theories.... Ignorance wasn't bliss....

Communication with the server has timed out. Wait another 10 seconds?
Constantly getting this message coming up and everything on CC has been running really slowly for several days now. When will this be sorted?

There is a special place to report slowdowns:
[Official] Website "lag" reports. As it says in the first post there, more information about what you were doing and when you were doing it can be helpful when reviewing server logs. I would merge this there, but I do not have moderator privileges in the General Discussion forum.

Really terrible lag in this game:
Game 12001947 at server time 2012-11-28 09:32:07 and around there. Opponent wasn't affected, but my internet access in general was fine. Had less bad but still pretty awful lag spikes for the couple of hours later too.

Been having a lag for the last week now. In speed games it is a real bother. I cannot make an attack sometime for up to 10 seconds. I have lost many points from the lagging.

Pulling up my game list is really laggy.
Forum = not laggy
any other website = not laggy.
Just hitting my games is laggy. (loading for minutes on end)

I saw it as well, it looks like it was down for about 15 minutes. Hopefully it didn't have that large of an impact

Hi,
While playing a speed game today (1/22/13 at about 11:47 AM PST), the CC website went down. The winner of our game was the last person kicked out. Is there a way we can get our points back or at least allow us to have a do-over?
Here is the game: 12255123

The best way to file complaints about that would be an e-ticket I believe. The admin may visit this page if he is aware of the site being down, but to ensure someone gets your message, I suggest filing an e-ticket.

i have a question. often, when i play a speed game (and, sometimes a casual turn) i get the little spinning thing, sometimes i wait around and it goes all the way to that "timed out, click refresh" screen. which works sometimes and sometimes not. when i first get the non responsive, often i click back to "my games" and re-enter the same game, and it works, i can finish my turn or whatever. is this is a "lag" thing? i used to kind of assume it was my own connection.
(it happens fairly often some days, i wanted to kind of gauge whether was a lag from the website before reporting specific games and times. apoligize if this has been covered on the other pages of the thread, i didn't readthem. thanks.)

timogl, that is usually your connection that causes those types of problems. The easiest way to verify if it is your issue or CC servers by accessing a different website. If you just load up google and do a quick search, if it takes longer than usual, then it's normally your connection that is the issue. If CC servers are down, normally the whole website won't work. You wouldn't be able to access your game list or the forum until it gets back online.
