Just out of curiousity, why is sergeant 3 chevrons and lieutenant 4? Since private is one and there's no intermediate rank. Personally, I think it would look better w/ 3 for lieutenant and 2 for sergeant.

Edit- I just took another look, and I think I was mistaken and sergeant is 2 and lieutenant 3. Or maybe lack changed it. Whatever it is, thanks, Lack! :D

I think that 20 games and sub 1000 points the person should get a squished body icon, and be known as tank fodder

They deserve a crown for managing to get a score that high

To be more inline with the real world, Lieutenants would have a single silver horizontal bar, Captains would have gold double parallel horizontal bars, Majors would have a gold oakleaf cluster, Colonels would have an eagle.

that is only the american way of seeing the ranks...in Canada, we work only with bars (for officers, private and sergeant being non-commisionned members):
one for second lieutenant
one full and one half for lieutenant
two full for captain
one full, one half and one full for major
three full for lieutenant-colonel
four full for colonel
One HUGE bar (as large as 5 full) for genenral with maple leafs for the generals ranks (one maple leaf to four maple leaves, only one guys has four maples leaves, being THE highest general and commandant of the Canadian forces)

We in sweden mostly uses stars for officers. Meniga (Privates), Korpraler (Corporals), Furirer (Sorta like sergeant) and Överfurirer got 1, 2, 3 resp 4 horisontal bars. Then it's all stars.

Sergeant: Star with things around
Fanjunkare: Two stars with things around

Fänrik: one star
Löjtnant: Two stars
Kapten: Three stars

Major: Crown and Star
Överstelöjtnant: Crown and two stars
Överste: Crown and three stars
Överste Första graden: Crown and Four stars

Brigad General: One BIG star
Generalmajor: Two BIG stars
Generallöjtnant: Three BIG stars
General: Four BIG stars (This only two persons got, our commander in chief and our king)

we use a big green, velvet poofy hat with an ostrich feather dyed mauve. that'd be a cool icon!
